Better, Softer, Than Many "Silver Tip" Brushes Costing Many Times More.
It used to be that any good pharmacy had a few badger hair shaving brushes around. They never cost terribly much and since they lasted for years and years they were a worthwhile investment. I know 'cause it is what I preferred to use. Then circa the late 70's badger hair became unavailable in the USA and Europe. Not only did shaving brushes disappear from pharmacies so did the most highly prized brushes for yacht-quality bright work, since they too were badger hair. China does not restrict badger hair use, so now that importing stuff from China is no big deal we get our brushes from them, although my impression is that the best China badger hair is not as soft as the old USA badgers used to have.Badge hair brushes come in various quality with "Silver Tip" supposedly the best, "Finest" second best. "Pure is the economy grade, but the names of the grades and quality are only by convention so they they do not always match up.This brush is every bit as nice or nicer than most "Silver Tip" brushes costing 8 to 10 times more. (In particular the breathtakingly overpriced "Art of Shaving" stuff. If you are interested in a nice shaving experience, not in impressing your friends with how much you can spend; or if you just want to give the brush-and-bucket approach a try without breaking the bank, buy this brush. Now about the soap and bucket.... I'm still looking for my favorites. ( I found 'em. read the comment attached to this review!)EDIT: I got this brush in February of 2016. Six months of daily use and it has started to shed bristles with every shave as other reviewers have mentioned. What a shame as it is a very nice brush otherwise. I do not think it is in any danger of becoming unusable any time soon, but it is still a flaw. I hope that Wet Shaving Products addresses the issue for future production. Maybe I should knock off a star, but I have not because it is still a great value and the shedding is more of an annoyance than anything else.

Good Brush
Nothing wrong with the product or the customer service. Well done. It's just that the brush is too floppy for me. I like a stiffer brush for a bit more resistance.

Sheds worse than my dogs
There are a lot of good reviews for WSP brushes on here which prompted me to order it. I've had it six weeks and it continues to shed 20-25 bristles every time I use it. Its the right combination of stiff vs soft but at the rate its shedding it will be hairless by the end of the year. Contacted the manufacturer who said to return it to Amazon. Its been over 30 days so hopefully they take it back.
