Badger Shaving Brush High Density Superfine 2-Band Silvertip WSP "Monarch" (Ivory)

This brush is exactly what I was looking for. A little smaller than I might have hoped but for the price and the quality of the hair it's a hell of a lot more than you would get with any other brand! It is very dense with great backbone, but also extremely soft especially after you use it a couple times. It whips up lather perfectly and easily with even the hardest of soaps, and didn't have that gross badger smell when I first opened which was nice. I've been using it for a couple weeks now and I've lost exactly 2 hairs and I blame that on pushing down, which the instructions specifically tell you NOT to do. But a well made brush shouldn't fall apart if you do, so I wanted to "test" it a little just in case.My recommendation, if you're looking for a step up in brush quality from boar or your starter kit badger but don't want to drop major coin. Buy this brush you won't regret it!

I wish I could give this brush 4.5 stars. There are some obvious quality control issues on the handle. It's injection molded and the injection point on mine is very rough. The finishing process wasn't great. But, it is, at the very worst, a small rough patch, and at best, a minor cosmetic imperfection, and given the cost of this brush, it doesn't really seem realistic or fair to deduct a full star for it.Other than that, I have no complaints. The brush silvertip is definitely high quality. It's sturdy without being stiff. It's not scrubby, but it doesn't feel floppy. It's large and it's definitely not a high-precision brush. However, it loads easily, makes great lather, lifts well, and covers the face swiftly.If you are looking for a brush with a 52mm knot and you want two-band silvertip, you'd definitely be wise to give this one strong consideration. It may not be the best brush ever made, but I have serious doubts that anything of similar specs costing less than twice the price would stack up.

I have been using a Omega Badger Brush for about a year. I thought that i would change it up and look into to investing into a better brush. After looking through a ton of brushes and pricing them this is the one i chose. There was only one problem i saw a review or two where people were saying that all badger brushes feel the same. I call BS on that any day! This brush is awesome! Its SOOO SOFT! Compared to my omega brush i think i payed 30-40 for the omega brush. This one is crazy soft and the handle is so well crafted! Its PERFECT! Im more then satisfied with this buy! I would have payed 100+ for this brush!

Good product. It's been almost 2 months and it's still shedding hair... hopefully this will stop soon.

I lost my prince brush and I figured I would be stepping up by getting this one but after a week of using I am missing my Prince brush pretty bad. It seems to be limp and never seems to hold the lather. Maybe it will get better in the coming weeks but I am thinking I will need to reinvest in another prince.

Very disappointed. Very soft and makes a great lather but sheds like crazy and the more I use it the more it sheds and yes, I know how to take care of it so thats not the problem. At this price I expected more. Would not recommend it although from what I read, could be a lemon like you can find with an Automobile.

A nearly perfect brush. It's not a wimpy as some of the other reviews would have you believe. It's firm enough to whip up shave cream from tube or bar yet soft and comfortable on the face. Also, it has just enough firmness to raise the beard. Holds lots of water/cream and cleans up easily.

I started wet shaving like my grandfather at the beginning of the year and absolutely love this shaving brush. Great density, excellent quality of materials, and I can't say really any hairs have fallen off in the 3 or so weeks I have been using this. Holds plenty of water, lathers up a great soap and is a joy to use.
