Replaced the starter in scag turf tiger 2.

Bought in Feb 19, 2019, has just stopped working. Wondering how good the warrenty is. I will update this review as we go, today is April 9, 2019 at 4:50 PM.EDIT: On April 10, I was contacted and I either have to send mine back so they can verify failure to send a replacement, or buy another new one and send my failed one back. I bought one and they provided me with a return shipping label.....now we wait until the new starter arrives.EDIT: On April 22, I received an email to let me know that the starter is indeed under warrenty and the purchase price has been refunded to my CC. I am going to change the rating to 5 stars.

As expected if the mice would quit chewing the wires!

I will admit that the return window had closed on this starter, BUT when I removed it still new from its box and installed it on my mower it DID NOT work. It does not even have enough power to turn over the engine unless you can rotate the engine to where it is off its compression stroke. As it is on a 36 HP engine that is very difficult to do. I contacted the company and they refused to make it good. The starters are junk and the company is a ripoff IMO.

No complaints yet and it’s been in service for a couple months now. Bolted right up and was just what I needed to get my surface drive starting like a champ again. Holding up to marine use so far anyway.

Works perfect for a mudbuddy 5500 sport. Beats paying the ridiculous price on BPS’ website.

Starter work real good

Used my zero turn around 4 to 5 times and the starter was acting up. I had to start pecking on the solenoid to get it to work.
