New Morning Mercies: A Daily Gospel Devotional Kindle Edition

I just finished the second year of reading through this devotional. Simulator to the last daily entry, each day I’m presented with small thoughtful reminders of how God is working in my life. I have not had a few major spiritual growth incidents in my life. I am a slow learner and by God’s grace and with the help of this book I continue to progress to be the person He is making me to be. I highly recommend this book to my fellow slow learners. Mr. Tripp has a clear way of confronting me and nudging me closer to being the gracious person he wants me to be with people in my life. Reading my bible with more purpose and understanding is an additional benefit of this daily devotional. I highly recommended this book to new believers and seasoned followers of Christ.

Mr Tripp's writing style calls you in to reflect on Scripture's Truth and lessons. He convicts me of my sins and then gives me hope for tomorrow. He shows me Jesus in the mundane, in the challenges of stress and grief. He guides me through the wisdom of the Bible to help me grow in my walk with Jesus. I will read this devotional again.

This book is for the serious Believer in Christ. A friend recommended it a few years ago and I have been reading it ever since.The grace of Christ is the theme. Paul David Tripp is a gifted writer who understands the meaning of grace and shares how that knowledge and application effects every moment of our lives.This book should be on the bedside table if every Believer!

Paul Tripp is real. He is humble, intelligent, relatable, spot on and humorous. He has a heart for the Lord and brings others into the fold, showing that a relationship with God is possible, necessary but also something to be desired. I have heard Paul speak twice and they were engaging experiences, with all the glory given to God.

This book is one of the most profound biblical devotionals I have ever read. I bought 5 copies to gift to friends this Christmas and plan to purchase copies to have on hand to give when the opportunity arises. It is a great book for couples to do together. I can’t say enough about the depth of these devotions.

There are many wonderful daily devotionals out there, but for consistently sound, biblical truth and genuine applicability to daily life, it’s hard to beat Paul Tripp’s New Morning Mercies. Year after year it strengthens, encourages, convicts and challenges me.Using this to supplement my daily Bible reading has truly been a gift.

This book definitely provoked thought and legitimately reflection of our Lord and Savior and applies practical perspective to how the Gospel plays into life’s circumstances! Beneficial even if you only pick it up once in a while… one day can change a whole line of thinking when you consider Jesus!

This will be my fifth year through this book and each year it ministered to me. I highly recommend this devotional whether you are a new Christian or a seasoned one. I have other books by Paul Tripp that are also great.

This daily devotional is unlike any other I have read! Many devotionals have 'flowery' words, that make you feel good. This devotional book is 'meat and potatoes', full of substance, challenging the reader to 'dig deep', and challenging your thinking, understanding and walk with God! I would recommend this devotional to anyone who wants more!!!
