Mesa Multi-Tasking Lap Tray for Laptops, Smart Phones Tables & Books

Product arrived in a gift wrapping kind of packaging. Although original packaging doesn't have any damages, lap tray has few splinters in the corner.wondering if the lap tray would get splinters after usage,which makes it hard to use.returning this one and reordering hoping i will receive a undamaged product this time. Other than that the product looks good

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  A great casual home “desk”I must declare that I bought this from Costco last week since they had $4.00 off ;)I was planning to buy a lap desk/lap trey for a long time. And I am not disappointed that I got this one. First off, its made of very good quality and sturdy wood and that’s why it’s a bit heavy. Another review mentioned its more than 7 pounds and that is why I checked its weight and I can say for sure its approx. six and half pounds (still heavy). But I don’t mind that because it won’t rest on my body and I would always take a heavy but sturdy lap tray instead of a lighter but shaky one.I dint know at the time, but it’s an added bonus to be able to incline one half of the desk at three inclination positions. This is particularly good when I am working on a iPad/tablet and have my phone and coffee mug by my side of the other half.I would definitely recommend this lap tray if you want to feel comfortable while working on your computer on your lap.

It looks nicely made, but it is 2 inches too wide and too heavy (over 7 pounds) to be used in my theater recliner seats 💺. I’ll have to return it and look for something else. The only assembly need is unwrapping the little piece of wood (pencil holder) and placing the pegs into the tray.

The bamboo is warped bulging so if you use a mouse is scraping on top of these bulging bamboo slats and they separate.

Very well made. Would be perfect if they made a version for lefties!
