Versatile, durable, ideal -- using for three years now!
What a great little chair!Got it for our 13-month old and we've had it for a few months now. Although his legs are still a little bit short to rest his feet on the floor and rock, he can make himself comfortable in it to hang out reading or watching TV. He'll just get more and more comfortable in it as he gets taller (he's about 32" currently). I like the material (I got the mesh option) because it's quick drying and easy to wash (but not removable). The chair works as well in our living room as it does at the beaches here in Hawaii and I love that it folds. He treats it like a mini jungle gym sometimes, tipping it and climbing on it etc but the folding mechanism stays true and locked.Although the price is really high, it's something made in the USA and that my kid can grow into and has many uses, so overall I think it's worth it. (although the price is really pushing it!)JULY 2014 -- Still using this chair! Still folds, took to the beach the other day. We have an old coffee table that's turned into a lego station and this is the perfect height for it. My son has grown 8 inches since we got this chair and gained about 15 pounds and he is still comfortable and relaxed in it -- although he is the lanky type. Glad to see it is cheaper currently ($28 not $50) but it was definitely worth the money and is still fully functional.

Well-made in America!!!
I bought this rocking chair for my stocky little 3 year old grandson and it works well for him. Also, my tiny little 2 year granddaughter loves it. She hops up into it and it doesn't tip over. She can pick it up and take it from one side of the room to the other. But, wait, my nearly 5 year old granddaughter finds it quite comfortable as well. The heaviest child weighs about 35 pounds but my quess is that it is fine for up to 50 pounds or so. The chair is well-constructed but amazingly light in weight. It snaps together easily and snugly. I love it and so do the kids.

Hoohobbers Rocking Chair
Plastic, light weight and does not even really rock. Colors are bright andnice for child but the chair is junk.

Very colorful, well built chair.
I wanted an outdoor rocker for our Granddaughter and had almost given up when I found this one on Amazon. It arrived in 2 days and was very easy to set up. Our Granddaughter loves it. The only small complaint I have is it seems to lean forward a little too much and she has to push to rock, but she seems to enjoy it. I like the mesh as I think it will weather the outdoors better than a wooden rocker.

This is very sturdy. It is foldable and does not seem to be a chance of it folding up when the child is on it. I was able to snap it in place but needed my husband to fold it up again. The seat is very taunt.

Love it!
I have had a rocking chair just like this for 7 years from my oldest child. I have twins and that are 20 months who have been fighting over this rocking chair for a few months. I finally purchased this second one to solve the problem and am happy to report the battle has ended. They love these! The one I have had for 7 years is still in great shape, they are very durable. They fold up flat and are easy to tuck away and store.

Nice chair, but not worth the price
I purchased this rocking chair for my 2-year old for Christmas and she seems to like it well enough. It's pretty, light enough for her to move around, and has rubber stoppers on the front so she can get in and out of it. It seems to be well-made and looks really cute, but functionally, it's much smaller than I envisioned -- she will outgrow it easily within a year -- and the seat angles up toward the front so that unless she's scooched all the way back, which is hard for a toddler to accomplish, it doesn't rock. The biggest drawback is the $49 price tag: once I actually saw the chair, I would've expected to pay half what Hoohobbers charges. The materials are plastic and mesh and it's small, but it does fold up neatly (although this was not a selling point for me). Had this not been a gift from Santa, I would've returned it and purchased the Fisher Price Infant to Toddler Rocker for $29. Fisher-Price Infant-To-Toddler Rocker - Blue/Green My 5-year old has had one since she was 1 and it's large enough and constructed in such a way your child can grow with it. The frame is metal and the seat is cotton; it has a vibrating seat option and activity bar for when the child is small. And it's much more comfortable than a wooden, straight-backed rocking chair. Even though I no longer need any of the baby features, it's what I wish I had purchased this time and what I'll probably end up getting when the Hoohobbers chair is too small, as it is a much better deal.
