This little beauty is a must have for installing a freestanding tub. The regular shoe ell will not work for a free standing application since most freestanding tubs have integrated overflows.

Replacing an identical tub drain from 1978 and this part was an exact match.

If you have a tub drain that goes straight down this is the part you need.

Exactly what I needed for my tub

Perfect for adjusting the height of a pvc drain pipe (white version is pvc, black is abs) which goes under the tub. A standard drain from the big box store screwed right in. I was having trouble aligning my new tub and drain pipe with an old existing cast iron pipe. No combination of elbows was working. This handy little piece extended the length of the drain by about an inch which then perfectly aligned my pipes.My only gripe is it’s crazy over priced

Exactly what I needed to connect the drain of a freestanding tub with no overflow to a drain pipe immediately below it. Threads were correct, welded right onto the existing pipe.

Needed straight drain "shoe" on outdoor clawfoot tubs didnt have many options as most are 90's these were perfect sealed up great 1st time!

I bought this but did not use since it was not the correct piece for my application. I did keep it though in case of future need; seems like good quality
