I bought this case for my 12 year old son phone and it has been tested to the max. He has dropped his phone multiple times with the case on and thankfully the case has protected the phone. He has no problems with the case preventing him from using his power key or volume keys. Great choice for a case in my opinion especially with a on the go son as I have that is rough on his things.

This case lasted about a month. As mentioned in other reviews, the top of the protective case is open. Couple this with the loose fitting clip, and you have a case that works best when clipped in vertical position. After two weeks of using this case every day, I found that the phone slips a little too easily from the clip. After the phone slid out while crossing the street and chipping the exposed top, I started wearing the clip vertically to avoid any more issues. The case has a couple of good features, such as a felt lining inside the clip to make you feel the screen is better protected against scratches, as well as a break-away clip for those times it catches on the frame as you get in and out of the car. All in all, I found that this process is understandably not intended for this product, and I find myself with a broken clip case. I will not be buying this product to replace it. I gave it 3 stars because it is inexpensive and might work well for those that intend to wear vertically...then deducted 1 star for the false sense of security and loose fit.

The case arrived quickly and completely. I have used it for about a month, and I am generally very happy with it. The case itself is thin but sturdy, and doesn't interfere with my Zagg screen protector, which my last case did. I am a little concerned that it is open at the top and bottom, which means that dropping it on either end would be dangerous. The sides and back are well protected, though, and the grooves make the case very easy to hold and slide in and out of the holster.The holster is ok, I like the fact that you can use it as a stand also. The pivot point could have been a bit higher, and the spring on the clip is a bit weak, which means it can slide off your belt if you're not careful. We'll see how long it lasts under every day use.

The case itself is pretty durable. The holster on the other hand broke on the first day I had it. I wish I could buy just a replacement holster but bought another case at a reasonable amount. Now I'll be able to fix and match.
