HCI-10 Retro Style Open Face Helmet

As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. And with this helmet, you're not paying for much. It seriously looks like a toy. The trim around the front of the helmet is not metal, it's a silver sticker over plastic, and it has bubbles in it. I tried on a Biltwell Bonanza, a Bell 500, and a Bilt Jet Cruiser. All had fairly flat crowns, which cut down on the bobble-head look. This one it egg-shaped, and makes you look like a Conehead. On the plus side, it's extremely light (the lightest 3/4 helmet I've tried), it's true to size, and it is fairly comfortable (which is why it gets 2 stars instead of 1). But if you're looking for a cheap helmet, I'd go with the Bilt Jet Cruiser instead.
