Henry VIII (A Wicked History): Royal Beheader Paperback – March 1, 2009

This book is wonderful because it give enough information so that the reader knows who Henry VIII was, but not so much that the book might not keep the interest of a intermediate level middle schooler. Perhaps the best thing about this book is that it piques readers' interest to learn more about the subject. The whole "Wicked History" series is wonderful.

Buy many of this series!, becuase you just can't get too many quality biographies of evil people any more! I've gotten five of them. Unlike many books about Henry VIII, this one isn't a volume that's mostly about his wifes and is 600 pages long!

Loved it. Short and consice, gives you just enough history to be interesting.

My eleven year old nephew enjoyed this book enough to ask for more books in the series. The is the first nonfiction book he's read.

My 13 year old loves this series! History does not need to be boring! A great way to instill a love of learning about the past.

This book was a great overview of Henry the VIII's reign. I enjoyed reading it just as much as my 10 year old son.
