Hi, I have used Conair cartridges for at least 25 years and they are very convenient for traveling even on cruises💕💕They are safe to carry on to an airplane as well……you do need the appliance to connect the cartridges in to…may also be purchased on Amazon!!It is a non-electric curling iron!This item should only be used by adults or with adult supervision.Sincerely,Marilyn I.

Curls when camping.
I have used a Conair thermo cell hair curler for years. Of course the curler takes these thermo cell activators. I started with them while camping, and now use the Conair system when we RV, and have not used our generator while I do my hair. Nice hair in an instant. They are safe, totally sealed and heat up quickly. So handy. A great product.

Its a small good product
I like the ease of using it, its small compact, no cords to deal with, I burn myself like I would with the bigger electric one.
