So far I have loved every item I made from this book. I'm glad I got the print version, for the patterns.

Aneela Hoey writes the best pouch patterns ever.
This book is fantastic. The table of contents photo shows all the lovely and inventive projects (which, not to undersell here, are AMAZING), but what really sets this book apart is the clear, thoughtful instruction. For example, I have bound dozens of quilts and have a preferred way of making my bindings. Author Aneela presented a method I have tried before and failed at/hated, but when I followed her instructions, it was easy! She has one extra step that stupid-proofs the process. There are a million similar examples throughout the book where, if you have questions about even a basic step, she has included illustrated reference pages to help you through. I’ve made four projects from the book already and look forward to making more. Aneela breaks complicated projects into a series of simple steps for beginners, yet the sophistication of the finished projects is still fun for experienced sewists. I definitely recommend this book to people of all experience levels who want a sewing project to help themselves get more organized.

Wonderful introduction to this type of sewing
I have admired products made from Aneela’s patterns on social media for awhile, but as I had never done that type of sewing I was hesitant to spend $12ish on a single pattern. This seemed the way to go as it offered several different patterns as well as background information and instructions about this type of sewing. I have found her writing style as well as her illustrations to be clear and easy to understand on the one project I have made so far. After I try a few of the others in this book I will purchase some of her other patterns that are sold individually.

Cleverly Constructed!
I've made half of the projects from this book so far and plan to make the rest in the next month (I joined an online sew along group and we make one project every week.) No complaints! It is informative, comes with a full sized pattern sheet, and most of the items use clever construction techniques making them interesting to stitch with tips I can use for future projects. These pouches, bags, and cute notions would make great sewn gifts too. The author explains each step; my advice would be not to work ahead. Simply read each step and follow it. The only seam ripping I've had to do came from not reading the instructions closely.I especially love that just inside the front cover is one page with all of the projects from the book. It is an excellent resource for finding the pattern I'm looking for quickly. I wish every pattern book included something so useful.

A Favorite
Love this book! I’ve made 4 projects and all have turned out very nicely. No big surprises or major stumbling points. Also, her suggestions for supplies are super helpful. So much packed into this book. Final thoughts - probably not suitable for the absolute beginner and be sure to purchase the hard copy book so that you get the templates/pattern fold out page.

Beautiful, Usefull Accessories to Carry in Your Needlework Bag.
I love to knit and embroider, and these accessories are fun to sew and they make keeping your supplies organized much easier. (Plus they are all just so darned cute!) Most of the projects are somewhat challenging---you are working with vinyl, zippers, etc., but you can customize them to fit your needs and you can make them all in coordinating fabrics so they are all matchy-matchy. Buying products made to store your needlework projects in are usually very expensive for some reason, and you can make the projects in this book for a lot less money. You can also modify the organizers so they can be used to jewelry storage when you travel or make them for your kids to carry small toys in.

If you love little projects and sewing organizers - this book is for you.
This is truly a great book. The instructions are clear and concise. What may seem like wordy details are actually step-by-step directions to help you visualize the process. Therefore you end up with beautifully designed organizers that are useful in every way. There’s a Materials/Supplies section, a Tools section and a Basic Sewing Techniques section - all to help before you even step up to your machine. The photos and illustrations are great, all done in that Aneela style that we love. I’ve made every single project in this book (some more than once!) and each one is a super useful object! Go - get this book now!p.s. I had my copy spiral bound at a local office supply store. Best $5 I ever spent.

Great book!
I absolutely love this book! The directions are so clear and there are so many different things I want to make. I think my first attempt will be the Fold-Up Sewing Folio, which is on the cover. May as well go big, right? I am a quilting book junkie and find so many books these days lack real clear instructions but this definitely is the exception to that. Thank you Aneela Hoey for a fabulous book, I hope there are more books in your future!!!I just added pictures of my completed sewing folio and am very happy with how it turned out!

The most beautifully put together book
The most beautifully put together book, full of gorgeous projects! The photographs are inspirational, the materials lists and cutting guides are very thorough, and the diagrams make the directions easy to follow. The book starts with some basic guides to materials, tools and techniques - best of all is the quick reference guide to installing zips, as this bit always gets me into a panic!! Paper pattern pieces are included. These projects are like none others I have seen, so makes the book a really refreshing read - thanks Aneela! :)

Patterns to actually use!
Brilliant book. I already own lots of bag/storage patterns most of which are unused. However the clever way these are put together and clearly described have inspired me to make many of these already.Don't just think of them as sewing organisers, there are many many ways of using these patterns.

impossible to understand
I have just spent a whole day, trying to sew the triple pouch, which I bought the book for . It is the most exasperating pattern I have ever tried, even the author say in her blog, that she took the seam ripper to it many times. Well, I took it to the bin ! Book is off to the goodwill!!
