Authentic Puppia Soft Dog Harness

This harness is perfect for my 6 lb Maltese. It’s lightweight and soft, but still feels secure and well made. I love that the mesh is breathable and the shape doesn’t put pressure on her neck like some other small-dog harnesses do. It fits her little body really well without feeling bulky or stiff, and the adjustable strap makes it easy to get a snug fit. The violet color is also really pretty in person. Definitely recommend for tiny dogs!

LOVE THE PRODUCT BUT THE FIT REALLY SMALL. THEY ARE SAFE AND STRUDY, EASY TO USE WITH NO PROBLEMS. IF YOU HAVE A 40 IB. DOG BE SURE AND GET AN EX LARGE, SO IT WILL FIT OVER THEIR HEAD.

After weeks of reviewing reviews until my eyes burned, and researching different harnesses, I decided to go with this harness and the Ipuppy one adjustable dog soft harness "air flex". I have 2 shih tzu's a 10 year old male 12.6 pounds (he is a little on the small side of shih tzu's, being the runt of the litter) and a 3 year old female 9.8 shih tzu (she is on the smaller size also, very dainty). I went back and forth after reading reviews, small size versus medium. I initially had chosen medium, but in the end went with the small. Mistake. The small at the largest adjustment was approx 1 and 1/2 inch too small (for the female) and I'm guessing by eyeing it about 2 inches to small for the male (around the chest). Now i COULD get the head part to go over my females head but would take some wrestling, would probably been ok after I got it over the head, but if its that close, I didnt even bother. My dogs are not the best nor the worst at putting harnesses over them. They will wiggle some but not make it an all out war. So basically the opening for the head is a bit snug and runs smaller while the chest area is about 1 1/2 -2 1/2 inches smaller than the chart sizing they give (judging by the small I ordered). I will be gifting the smalls to friends or perhaps attempt returning (need to review return policy and see if and how much return fee's are). If you have a maltese, peke, small poodle , shih tzu or any similar size breed with weight of 10-14 pounds, maybe a pound or two heavier idk, the small will NOT work. And even going with the medium the part that goes over the head is going to be a lil snug going over ( I don't mind this part as my dogs do not hate harnesses or being messed with, but from time to time due to being excited may wiggle around a bit). Now about quality. The quality seems good and the fabric is soft and comfy. It won't be too hot for the dog (but i would not suggest dark color like black if out in the sun alot, even I dont wear black clothing in summer lol). It looks like it should hold up for a few years and maybe even survive through walking my male dog, or should i say, he walks ME. Regular collars choke them so harness way I would go. If your dog is in between sizes and very hard to fit, i would suggest the Ipuppy one adjustable soft harness because the chest and neck pieces are both adjustable, but does add a lil extra "bulk" around the neck, but not too bad, its better than the Petco harnesses I had tried. Both have their advantages, but this harness looks like it would be more comfortable for the dog around the neck with its simpler design. I sat and examined both of the harness, and decided I would buy one of each. My dogs are very close in size so if one dog develops a preferance, Ill just swap them (my male dog has no issues wearing pink lol) So, to recap, if debating over quality of harness, seems durable and comfy, buy it. If debating over size small or medium, the chest part is adjustable, and the head will be a bit more snug (judging by the small and guestimating on the medium) I prefer a bit snug over too large, looks like it will be bit snug on putting it on but once on should fit good. And my past harnesses seem to stretch a bit after moderate use, and sometimes would get their leg out of them, so i rather a lil snug just going on and be a good fit than it being too big after I get it on and they escape.) Hope this helps, will review the product again when the medium comes in and keep you updated, but for those that need a harness NOW, thought I would offer my opinion. (side note, on the ipuppyone adjustable harness, I would suggest a medium over the small also if you have similar sized breed/weight also, although the part that goes over the head is a wee bit bigger maybe 1-1 1/2 inch bigger opening? Im guestimating, can always adjust it) I like them both and could not decide between the two, so ordered one of each, both are good quality. As far as care for the harness, I would suggest hand washing most harness's and air dry to prevent shrinkage, easy to wash, dry fast anyways

I tried other brands but the softer over the head is the easiest with our dogs. They can’t wiggle out once it’s on so then it’s just one click around the chest. They are comfy for them and controls them easily and gently. Keep in mind my dogs are 7 and 12 pounds but pull like sled dogs. We love these! Size chart is perfect.

We’re now on our second one of these harnesses, and it’s still our favorite! We’ve tried several other brands, but none have fit our Frenchie as well as this one. French Bulldogs can be difficult to size because of their broad chests and stocky builds, but the large fits our 28-pound Frenchie perfectly. It feels secure without being too tight or restricting his movement, and it stays comfortably in place during walks. It’s easy to put on and adjust, and he seems completely comfortable wearing it. We purchased a second one because we liked the first so much. I would definitely recommend this harness to other Frenchie owners!

I bought two of these harnesses for my cats so that I could tether them so they could enjoy the outdoors safely on my balcony. I liked the idea of this harness because it looked comfortable and with cats anything you put on them (especially something uncomfortable) they turn into little escape artists! Pros: The harness was definitely comfortable enough for my cats to move around freely. My one cat took a liking to the harness because she had no problem walking around (my other cat had issues and refused to walk in it but that was the cats fault more so than the harness). The waste was adjustable so I could somewhat tighten and customize the fit. Cons: The largest complaint I had for this product was that the small / extra small were still a little too large at the neck (which again isn't really the harnesses fault because they are meant to be used for dogs) however what I didn't like about this is that you could not adjust the neck opening so while you could fit the harness around the waste it was too loose at the neck. I don't think this is specific to cats because my girlfriend brought her small dog over and we had the same problem with him. My bigger con is that it didn't securely fit the cat - while all was well and good the cat didn't struggle to get out of it, but when my cat was spooked by a loud noise, within 2.3 seconds she was out of that harness completely - free and clear! this posed a huge safety issue that really concerned me. ALL in all - I like the harness and I like the Puppia company a lot - my solution for this was to get a harness made by puppie where you could adjust the neck as well as the waste belt: Puppie RiteFit harness. I will post a review on this one as well!

I had received this product today's afternoon. The delivary was on esteemated time as Amazon always do. I had done quite a lot research on harness for Emmie, my 11mo old labrador retriver after she torn her former harness (ordinarily one available in the pet shop) and had a chafing at near arm pit. I was searching for such harness which would stud as well as comfortable for her. There are lots but this harness is made up of good meyerials and colors are also very attractive and versatile. I took her for a long walk, it met my expectations... putting in and out is very easy and hasaled free if you know the technique plus it was seems apprearing very comfortable for Emmie (this harness is recognised one of the most comfortable harness for fido, it can not give you control over her pulls like Freedom or Walkezy No Pull Harness) Meterial wise it is same as described online... Very soft air mesh and washable. Overall it met the customer satisfection as well as value of money. Update 1: One drawback of this harness I would like to mention that it is not a ordinary walking harness and is not recommended for those who are new to its use. Remember this harness is mean for training purpose on a long leash or it can be used as sports harness where a dog can free to move at time of outdoor play like fetch game, even he is on leash. But This harness is extremely unsafe as walking harness as the dog if by chance step or pulled backward suddenly he can manage himself out of the harness ( this happen to me twice during walk, where I luckily took her under control.) So if you are looking for a walking harness this is definitely not a good choice.
