VANCLEEF 4-20FT Antique Double Barn Wood Door Hardware Track Rail Kit, Classic Design Roller, Black Rustic, for Bathroom, Bedroom, Closet, Interior and Exterior Use (11FT Double Door Kit)

I remodeled my studio apartment in late 2020 on a dime, but decided to spend a little extra on a replacing the old bathroom door with a barn door that would slide between a closet and the bathroom. But just a *little* extra, since I ordered this 8’ door kit off the warehouse for a fraction of the cost and waited over two weeks to get it... time is money, right? Meanwhile, I constructed the door and ordered another company’s 6.6’ track on a Black Friday deal, just in case this one never arrived. I also found some wall mounted door guides because I couldn’t drill into the new flooring. When the other track arrived, I immediately disliked the idea of having two pieces for the length, and after getting the Vancleef, I returned the back-up because the quality of the one-piece, as well as the components, was much better.Install: instructions were clear to me as far as measurements and steps were concerned, but this is coming from an advanced DIYer with an engineering degree. I knew I would need about a quarter inch shim to extend the track out for the door to clear my door trim, so I ended up drilling six 1” wooden circles out of the old bathroom door panel, which was actually a good solution. Track went up straight and tight. Having the right drill bits, socket heads, and tools will definitely make the job easier. FYI I installed this by myself with no issues but it probably helped that I had the door trims to support the track length as I leveled it.The problem I encountered was that when I drilled the holes in my door for the hangers and bolted them on, I found that the included 60mm hex bolts did not fit my 1 3/8” door, which not match up with the item description saying it would fit 1 3/8- 1 3/4” doors. So I went to the hardware store to find another option for shorter bolts, hoping to keep the same black finish and still use the decorative acorn nuts, but failed. I ended up contacting the seller, since they seemed willing to help their customers with cutting custom lengths or providing extra hardware. I am happy I did, because they honored my purchase of their product and sent me the correct hex bolts. (I almost wish I asked for their track extenders, too :))Overall, I am very happy with this purchase and would have paid the full price if my budget were higher, especially since the company stands behind their product. The track kit runs smooth and I have no complaints with anything else. 5 stars for quality and customer service!

We just installed our double barnyard doors yesterday. I was sad when our order was back ordered, but it was definitely worth the wait. Excellent quality at an excellent price! Included everything we needed. I was concerned the the bracket came in 2 - 8 foot pieces for a total length of 16 feet. Do not worry at all, the doors roll so gently and quietly. I gave only 4 stars for installation, but that’s because we are not professionals, just a couple doing our own home improvements. We had some issues getting doors to meet together evenly, but after some adjustments, it looks perfect. Very clear instructions & great customer service when I called with some questions when ordering. I would definitely recommend this product.

Had to replace a janky knock-off kit previous owner slapped together. This kit has really great hardware. Very sturdy. Where it is not great is the lag bolts and the acorn nuts. Snapped two lag bolts off installing the rail. Managed to remove both but had to resort to stainless lags from big BLUE. Same when attaching hangers to doors ... stripped one of the acorn nut. Same solution. That and some etching primer and flat black paint.Kit is good. Right on the edge of great. If they'd use higher quality lag and nuts.

I got the 16-ft version to make sliding doors for a shed. The hardware kit is first rate by any measure, with well thought-out features and top notch materials. I would have given it five stars if the directions would have been a bit clearer. I learned the hard way that you can't mount the door on the rail if the anti-jump bumper isn't installed so it can be swung out of the way when lifting the door into place. This led to a few minutes of frustration until I figured out how to attach the bumper correctly. This could have been addressed in the instructions and not left it to logic or trial and error. That said, it would be hard to find something else that matches the quality of the VanCleef product.

Excellent quality product. Incredibly well made and sturdy. I upgraded to the metal where and have no regrets. They are quiet and beautiful, as beautiful as wheels can be I suppose. Shipment was missing parts but the company responded quickly and expedited shipping them to me which was appreciated. Instructions aren’t the best, cartoony and not accurate. For example it says for attaching the piece to the door with the wheels to measure 5/8” only...from the top of the door to what? The top of the bolt, the middle, the bottom???! Also the bolts were too long for the door, had to buy my own to keep it from digging up the wall. Overall would buy this again, lessons learned for me on things I need to communicate in advance when purchasing a product like this but i recommend it highly.

Just bought the 16ft double barn door track rail kit and have been thoroughly impressed with the product so far. Installation was a breeze, probably took a little more than an hour from start to finish. I have solid wood barn doors that are 4' x 8' and probably weigh around 50lbs each. Mounting the doors on the rails was a breeze and I've been thoroughly impressed with how smooth and quiet they roll along the rail. My two young boys can open and close the barn doors with ease and my wife loves the way they look. I would definitely recommend this kit for look and value.

I purchased the 11 ft frame and fastened it to shiplap. I built the doors myself, and it turned out great. I was impressed with the quality and how well everything fit together.Pretty easy install. The only thing I would add is the fact the instructions just say “drill holes” and never really tells you what size holes to drill or what size bits to use. Having said that, I am very pleased with the product and am very glad I purchased Vancleef.Thank you guys very much.

I've had this up for 3 months now in a den and it's been pretty reliable with daily use. The only issue I had was one of the bolts broke off during installation but Vancleef quickly shipped over a replacement part. I do recommend adding a wall slide track piece instead of the floor tracker.

I was very happy with this product. Install was straight forward. It was excellent value for the price.

Product was perfect and the seller was great! I even go a bonus set of handles. Will be getting these for an interior project soon!

The doors run very smoothly as the metal wheels run on ball bearings. My order did come on time but the packing box was ripped open and taped up by the shipper. I would buy again if I had a need.
