We search around the world to find only the best farmers for you to buy from directly and only then select the “best of the best” to offer for sale in a true “farm to table” mission. Coming from one of the few olive orchards planted in the cool climate of the Casablanca Valley in Chile, Três Pontas Extra Virgin Olive Oil has a unique and harmonious character. The Casablanca Valley is one of the few valleys in Chile with optimum conditions for producing a premium extra virgin olive oil. The maritime influence from the Pacific Ocean provides cool night-time temperatures and a morning mist that acts as a temperature moderator. This creates a perfect environment for the fruit to ripen slowly & completely. It’s the same reason Chile is known for really great red wines - the same weather conditions produce great olives too! Our farm in Chile practices Sustainable Farming to ensure that the soil and environment around our olive trees will be healthy and productive for generations to come with no negative impacts on the greater community. The farmer we buy from, José Miguel Arnaiz was the first person to plant and harvest olive trees in the Casablanca Valley in Chile about 7 years ago. His olive oil has never been exported to the USA before - until now! Now you can scan the QR Code found on every bottle of Três Pontas olive oil to launch a Google Earth satellite image of José Miguel’s orchard where the olives were born before they started their journey to the United States. All of our olive oil is first cold pressed in Chile and bottled there immediately after harvest.

Delicious. This is my olive oil now.
This is yummy olive oil. It’s tasty on its own and a joy to cook with as well. It’s better than any of the olive oils I can purchase at Kroger. I liked it so much I ordered a five liter jug. The packaging leaves something to be desired; it ships in a small thin box without much padding (that 5 liter jug I ordered got crushed by UPS and was returned—that must have been a mess). Nevertheless, I ordered half a dozen of these 1 liter glass bottles for Christmas presents and they all arrived safely, and the five liter jug I ordered from Tres Pontas directly (also shipped in a flimsy box) arrived safely as well.

I’ve finally found it....
I found my new favorite EVOO. Growing up with an Italian mother I was fairly certain I knew how to select a good oil. Recently a friend introduced to Tres Pontas and I am so impressed with the taste, the smoothness, (no bitterness) and how versatile this oil is for cooking everything from scrambled eggs, to marinating meats and as the key ingredient in my favorite salads. I also love how this product is sourced. I’m very pleased to have found Tres Pontas.

Fantastic tasting oil that can be used to cook with or as a flavor additive. Gives off a great smooth taste when used on avocado toast or on salads.
