Lumiere Lusters are gorgeous, intensely saturated, color shifting metallic oxide pigmented flakes for art and craft embellishment. This special 4 pack includes Ballyhoo, Passion Flower, Scarab Beetle and Tropical Forest. These four colors are unique from our other luster flake. Each are a beautiful blend of rainbow colors with a specific color hue that will dazzle your projects. These are FULL jars of pigment, the jar is a 3 gram/mil. by volume. Lumiere Luster's larger particle size offer unique shimmer & incredible color changing dimension to many creative mediums. Add them to transparent acrylic bases, resins, waxes or varnish. They may also be used over various mediums & sealed. Lumiere Lusters are non-toxic. Lumiere Lusters are exquisite on polymer clay. A little goes a long way! Simply press down or rub over conditioned raw clay. Layer the lusters with a thin film of a sticky medium such as liquid polymer over top of the lusters to stick more down for added dimension, or control areas for stenciling! Bake your project at the normal curing schedule. Multiple heats are fine, and, because our lusters do not contain any plastics, they will not melt or degrade in the clay. Once cured in the clay, the lusters should be permanent. Sealing is optional, but recommended for jewelry wear. Most of our Lumiere Lusters are very heat tolerant, and can be used in a kiln up to at least 1000F (538C) or higher, and can be embedded in lampworked glass with care. See more at JetAgeStudio.com

That extra touch for watercolor
I use these flakes to add sparkle to my handmade watercolors. The particles or flakes are a nice size to add just a touch of shine but not overwhelming.

Love it!
I used Renee's suggestion of a tiny steel hobby spatula (she sells them now) to scoop a teeny bit of the luster onto a separate scoop thing. Now, after my my first attempt, I'm wasting very little, and my beads look amazing!

These containers are tiny
These were quite expensive but I thought a promising product to craft with. Containers of like products run about the same price. Imagine my reaction when I got them...the containers are 1" in diameter. ONE INCH! And with shipping and tax I paid over $8 each! DON'T BUY THESE - THEY ARE A RIP-OFF and NOT WORTH IT.
