HiVisible Reflective Backpack Cover Rainproof - Waterproof Rain Cover for Backpack - 10-30L

Thin and flimsy. Has no provision for your backpack straps. Also has small holes in it out of the package.Edit: To their credit, and without being asked, they sent me out a new cover. The second cover I received was devoid of holes this time, they also included a couple of hi-vis arm bands with it. Thanks, and thanks for paying attention to reviews! This cover was much better in the respect that it was actually waterproof. However the inability to secure it properly to a backpack remains. If it had a couple of Velcro or snap straps to go around the shoulder straps of a backpack this would be a good product. The elastic around the perimeter of the cover is good, but it does not hold it in place very well, especially on a moving vehicle when wind gets into it. I did give them another star for being good with customer service but can’t go better due to design.

i am currently using this as more of a visibility cover so that drivers can see me so i have not yet tested it in a downpour.i use it on my Deuter Walker 20 & Deuter Speedlite 20, half packed and it is a tight fit. i tried it on my Osprey Palea 26 liters & it barely fits the pack. it's better to have some slack on a rain cover so it covers a backpack completely & to help it stay on since it doesn't have a bungee cord or straps to hold it in place. minus one star there. the other reason why i subtracted a star is this raincover actually came with holes in it, near the reflective fabric. so i'd suggest to the company to have better quality control & probably not advertise this raincover as being able to fit up to a 30 liter backpack unless that backpack is empty as it barely fits a half full Deuter Walker 20 liters & Osprey Palea 26 liters...

Bought this for my fiancé who commutes to work through Manhattan. He loves it because it stays put on his backpack and keeps splatter and road grime off his bag. Also adds visibility for night time riding. Anything I can do to keep him safe!

Great purchase for my son. He catches the school bus around 6:25am, and during the winter it is still dark outside. This rain cover allows people to see him at the end of the driveway. Gives me a peace of mind. It's durable and works well!!

Use this to put on my backpack while riding the bike to work early mornings (still dark out at 4:30-5am) and I’ve gotten feedback from my co workers that sees me in this while coming into work. Very effective and easy to put on. I use it daily while making the commute to work by bike.

It works well under mild rain, but for heavy rain not so much. The video is not completely accurate, I believe, it does leak. I covered my leather backpack today and walked under the rain, and it leaked and now the leather is messed up. I trusted the video, but I shouldn't have. That said, the sellers are responsive and have a nice customer service. As I said it is a good product, but heavy rain is tricky. You may want to put two layers on top of each other

I was looking for a highly visible rain cover for my backpack since I'm commuting to work with my bike. The color and reflective band make me highly visible for cars in rainy weather. I ordered the rain cover together with two reflective bands for more visibility in winter weather. The rain cover just fits over my Nordace Siena backpack and can be secured with the two straps. No holes in my rain cover, everything seems fine. Waiting for some rain to test the product. All in all I'm happy with my purchase.

It's very simplistic, so don't expect this to work through a long journey in the rain. I bought this for my 25+ minute bike rides from work and haven't experienced any water leaking. Actually what I like most about this is the bright yellow and reflective stripe. The more visibility to my back the safer I feel on the road.
