Simple design that works.
I've have 4 of these, and no problems with them. 240lb singletrack user. No big jumps, but rocks, roots, single speed, hard cornering. A little maintenance every now and then. The stock grease inside the pin mechanism doesn't work well in really cold freezing weather, but aftermarket grease had been ok so far. The 27.2mm model is a little wobbly after a couple years, but solid. No wobble on the 31.6mm version.Issues:. Similar for most dropper posts though. - The long length. Measure your current seatpost extension and insertion, I've come up across both of these problems on separate bikes.- The boot nut coming loose. Comes loose every now and then when new, but not recently. Put the seat in the middle position and tighten down seems to work the best.- the lever isn't the best, but it works. Have to press the button at the same time as loading/unloading weight on the seat to release pressure on the pin. Once you get the technique, it's easy. The lever is also a chunk of metal you want to angle just right on the handlebar. I've knee'd it a couple times, and it hurts.-heavy. Yeah, it's heavy, but it's solid.

The most important thing to me is the durability of the product that i buy
I liked the post. I've had it now for about 3 month and the rubber boot is already cracking. Also I took it off road since it is a mountain bike post and where the seat mounts onto the post broke. The cheap pot metal broke and now the seat post doesn't work. I would never refer this item to anyone because it is cheap and you get what you pay for. So in saying that you should just bite the bullet and go for a more expensive post.

Doesn’t work.
Didn’t really work for more than a few rides. It would randomly pop up or collapse during ride. I did my best to adjust it correctly.

Good post for the money
I got this in my full suspension converted mountain bike and I've used it a little over 1200 miles and it still works. The bike is used on 99% blue and black trails with the occasional fire road climbs and this dropper post really helps out. It isn't the lightest dropper post out there but it does the job and does the job well at a very reasonable cost. Be aware that you will need to do some maintenance once in awhile. About 100 miles ago, the post started to slip, so I took apart the red thing where the cable and plug mechanism is and cleaned it well and lubed it, problem fixed.
