First of all, yes, these are tricky to use. They're a little springy and there's a knack to separating the strands... But... The colours are gorgeous and they look amazing when worked with. Just be a little more patient with them. Definitely worth the money and something I would buy again

They feel poor quality, very little sheen and worst of all they are not variegated, they're one colour for about 30cm then change straight into another for a further 30cm and so on, not what variegated is, no slow blending.

These threads are beautiful. Lovely colours, so different from other variegated threads I have used before. each skein has different colours in them which complements the colour chosen. Slight sheen which enhances the project your're doing.

Very excited waiting for these to arrive, received much quicker than expected. However, I was so disappointed with the colours and lack of variation, out of the twenty, there were double ups, so not 20 different colours at all. One pink, a a couple of pretty colour, the rest are all very similar mixes of black with red, and gold. Very gaudy colours rather than the beautiful gentle mixes of hue changes shown in the product info. Too dark, and missing a large amount of colours such as blue, grey, yellow, purple, green. A good variegated thread should be subtle mixes of colours that really enhance each other, mostly these do not meet that expectation at all. The threads are very shiny and even the dull colours look opulent in the light, very nice quality and feel. But this does not make up for the lack of inspiration given by the poor mix of colours. I was going to buy more but I’m glad I waited as I will now save my money and spend it on nicer threads. I would return this item but being disabled it’s more effort than it’s worth. If these colours excite you then I would recommend, if not don’t bother.

..., die Farben sind wunderschön und wie im Angebotsfoto, nur daß das Garn noch schöner glänzt, was dort nicht so gleich zu sehen ist. Einfach schön. Die Lieferung kam zügig.

Ich habe den Garn bestellt weil ich unbedingt Verlaufsfarben haben wollte und auch den Umgang mit Seidengarn testen wollte. Der Garn ist super glänzend, geschmeidig und glatt, hat brillante Farben und es ist mehr Faden im Strang als ich gewohnt bin. Der Garn lässt sich leicht teilen, nur leider habe ich ihn noch nicht versticken können. Ich aktualisiere die Bewertung, wenn ich in den nächsten Tagen dazukomme. Edit: Nachdem ich angefangen habe den Garn zu verarbeiten kamen mir Zweifel ob es tatsächlich Seide ist. Nach kurzer Recherche und deinem "Feuer-test", hat sich gezeigt das es Kunstfaser ist und KEINE Seide. Auch die Aufgedruckte Firma "Oasis" ist im Übrigen nicht im Netz zu finden mit diesem Logo. Es ist also davon auszugehen das es sich hier um ein Billigprodukt aus China handelt. Während des Stickens reiben sich einige Fasern auf und bilden knubbel im Faden .... auch sehr unschön. Ob der Preis für diese Mogelpackung gerechtfertig ist, sei dahingestellt.
