Good design but my drum was defective.
The large drum was off center and rubbing the metal sides of the tumbler.I could't see it lasting. I liked the drum design though. No leaks and looks better than some out there. Also the simple motor moves belt, turns roller, turns drum design means less potential for failure. No electronics, not even a switch.Returned it due to drum issue and got the dual drum. Model 33.Love the 33. Smaller drums but that means I can run smaller batches and together they are larger then the 45C.They run true on the rollers.

Great tumbler for use as a ball mill
Seems solid and reliable. There are two rollers under the drum, one connected to the motor, the other free. The free roller was a bit stiff to turn and I was worried it would burn the motor out because of all the resistance. I put some lubrication on where the metal axle of the roller went into the white bushing, and then it moved easily. The motor housing gets pretty warm but within tolerances. I have used alumina grinding media in the rubber drum for powdering minerals and it works great, though I only fill it 1/3 to 1/2 full for that application. I'm glad I got this size and not the smaller model. If you're thinking about the smaller one, get this bigger one instead. It's not that big actually, it's the perfect size.

collecting a large pile of polished rocks now!!
Got this as a birthday present last year in Dec. It has only stopped running long enough to change grits or start a new batch of rocks since then. Love it. Never leaked on me and while the rubber tub stays fairly quiet, (don't hear the motor running) I still put in my shed as the noise was just enough to be slightly distracting. My wife did good on this one.

Don’t buy this one
This thing is so loud. The screws fell Out. The bottom pad fell off. The top is so hard to get off. It’s just not worth the money

Works great
Purchased as a Christmas gift. It has been in almost constant use since then (5 months so far) with multiple batches of rocks and is still running like a champ.
