Good value for the price
The chains were heavy duty and should blast the life of the snowblower. Good value for the money.

Exact Fit for Tires
I was a little reluctant in ordering these as I had seen reviews for other chains where they didnβt fit the tires at all that were specified for. These fit perfectly with a nice tight fit around the tires so they donβt slip on the tires when traction is engaged. Excellent product!

Chains Definitely Help in Deep Snow
Easy to Install. Has great bite in deep snow. Chains were a bigger than the snow blower tires but had no problem fitting them on tightly. Definitely very happy with them!

Easy to install on my Craftsman Snow Blower
We had a heavy wet snow of about 6 inches and my Craftsman Snow Blower tires kept slipping making it much harder to navigate. Trying to clear the ridge made by the snowplow required shoveling (I'm 69 years old), time to try adding chains to the wheels. I read the reviews, measured my tires and ordered these as they were the ones that came closest to my size and were reasonably priced. Just to be sure, I also ordered the rubber chain tightener that some reviews suggested. When they both arrived (on time as promised), my son and I started the installation. I let the air out of the tires (as I had read was helpful.) The chains were too big. I used my handy dandy bolt cutter to remove the links of one cross chain and that made it fit. When we reinflated the tires, the chain tightener was not needed, the chains fit snugly. The whole process took less than a half hour.Unfortunately, we have not had any significant snowfall since we installed the chains so I can't tell how much better my snow blower works by adding them. The four star review is for the ease of installation. When and if we get enough snow to use the blower, I'll update this review.

Too big
Part number 1061756Product description is β Fits tire size: 14x5.50x5 15x5.00x6 15x6.00x6β. Box says 15x6.00; 14x5.50x5.Of course I have the 15x5.00x6. I will need to remove 5 links and a cross chain, too big is always better than too small.Otherwise it seems like a good chain

work well
used on 13/4/6" snowblower tires, fiddled around quite a bit to get installed. Could use a better system than just extra links on inside/outside to make hook up. Too many links for 6" tire. Used bolts to secure extra links otherwise flop around. Maybe some nylon ties would work.

Sizing charts not included in the description
To be able to at least put a sizing table in the description is not hard nor super high tech! I had the same size tires on my lawn tractor that the first Q/A had addressed and affirmed that this part was the correct size (at least at the time of my order). I got it in short order but found that it was a tire about half the diameter and half the width. Now, a little too late, I understand that the Q&A's are the same for all part numbers. To make it less complicated, the sizing table be overall height (tire diameter) and width. The typical tire size coding is used to match a rubber tire to the right rim, which has nothing to do with selecting chains. Maybe it is more complicated than that but at least it would be an easy confirmation that the chains are compatible. For now I am returning the ones I ordered and waiting for what I think are the right sized chains.Edit 2021-04-12:I did finally get the right size and the chains worked fine. However, I keep getting questions from other amazon users whether the chains are compatible with their tires. This is really silly--the supplier should PROVIDE THE INFORMATION IN THE ADD!!! At least add the link to their website that has the sizing. It's not like Amazon provides old technology or limited amount of space for product information--how difficult or limiting is adding a 'chain sizing' internet link to their description? I won't give this more stars, as the product should deserve, until they fix this.

Grossly incorrect parts shipped
Truthfully, a rating of MINUS 10 would apply across the board here. WRETCHEDLY POOR "service"!!!Tire chains for our walk-behind snowblower.Item shipped was at least twice the size of what Amazon order page specified. Also had only 1/2 of the cross chains shown/specified on order page. Am VERY afraid replacement will be same as what I'm returning & I CANNOT find any contact point useful for pointing out to Amazon the HUGE differences between what I needed/ordered & what I received.1st pic shows tire & size ordered for; 2nd shows an original tire chain we wanted to replace still on it's tire. 3rd pic shows the part we ordered incl sizes of tires fitted & a good pic of how many cross chains comprise the shipped item. 4th pic shows an original chain compared to the Amazon item. Slightly different you say?Really, REALLY want this resolved BEFORE a perfectly useless replacement shows up here.

Flimsy
I gave this product three stars , only because it correctly fit a 4.80 x 8 Carlisle snowblower tire. The thickness of the chain links is pretty thin ... these chains are basically half the diameter of the chains i purchased at Canadian Tire last Fall so don't expect too much longevity out of these. These will end up going on the backup snowblower , going to keep the older ones on the main unit.On top of that , they are overpriced for what you get, i paid less for better quality chains last year ...Nevertheless they fit well but they are more suited for a garden lawn tractor than knobby snowblower tires as they sink in between the knobs and don't protrude rendering them somewhat useless.I will purchase a set in the correct size for my lawntractor in the Spring though.

More trouble than they're worth
Unsure of all the 5 star reviews these chains receive. Making your way through the product catalog is an exercise in itself. These arrived very late, not sure what they fit. They appear to be of poor quality & I'm certain by the weight, these would not last.

a little short for knobby tires
Chains were perfect for tires with no knob's problem I have knob's on my snowblower tires so I had to add another row of links as there was a big gap where they hooked up I had spare crossover sections form last pair I bought a few years ago and installed them now tires are completely covered It was my fault I had forgot about the knob'sOther than that Chains were perfect fit thank you
