I already have some other similar motion-activated solar lights around my property.I bought this one because I wanted to place one so it would only light up when somebody walks by it, so it stays completely dark otherwise (most light insist on emitting a dim light when nobody is around...).The motion detection is ok; it takes some decent movement to trigger it. A human will trigger it, a cat will most probably not.When it's on, the light is surprisingly bright. Almost too much for my use-case. I had to cover a few of the leds so it would be a bit more discreet.Looks durable, the charge lasts more than I can count (get's 2-3 hours of direct sunlight and I haven't seen it run out of juice yet), and seems to hold well against the weather.As you see in the photos, the leds are covered with a bright yellow plastic protector. I'd honestly would have preferred for it to be white or even black... stands out a bit on my set up. Quite satisfied with my purchase, though. I'll stick to it.

These LED lights seem to continue improve but many on the market are variable - the one I am replacing is at least 7 years old but then a few others I have had lasted only a year or so. This is the brightest I have had yet with newer LED technology than any I have had and will hopefully last a long time.Update: has stopped working after just two months, past the time Amazon will take it back... and no way to find out how to get a warranty replacement...

Just wanted a small solar-charging, motion-sensitive light for illuminating the side of my house for when I got to empty my bins. I've mounted it (single screw) about 6-7 feet above ground level and the light triggers when I get within 15-20 feet. It's bright enough to see what I'm doing but not so bright that I'm dazzled! So all in all a nice cheap light that does what I need it to do.

This a small unobtrusive box but it has a good brightness. Easy to fit but the only screw and rawplug supplied were quite small, I would have prefered a more substantial fitting., It responds well to motion and does not stay on for too long.It is ideal if you just want it over a door so you can see to fit a key in the doorlock.

I like it on all levels, does what it said it would. I don't know how it will fair in the darker months without bright weather.One of the four which was in place for a week worked then one night did not and has not since, not worth the cost of postage to return. ShameAs for weather proof, time will tell.

I have had one in place for about three months in the back yard and it supplies enough light to avoid the kids toys.

To be perfectly honest I find these lights (bought 2) to be just as bright as my neighbours plug in lights. Mode 1 motion sensor really does pick up movement from a wide range.They're so good I bought another

Sadly this stopped working after a very short period of time. We have several other LED motion sensitive lights and all others (different brands) continue to work fine. I would not recommend this.
