Well constructed and good deal, but lid isn't so great
The baking pan and carrier seem to be well constructed -- glass is thick and looks like it will withstand wear and heat. The thermal pack is a definite bonus too! However, the lid doesn't fit very well; there's space between the lid and the top of the baking pan. Doesn't seem great for containing food that is more likely to spill -- I'm looking for a more long term/multi purpose investment, so sending it back! Would be better for just baked goods/if you want to store things that won't spill! Good luck. :)

Lid does not fit
Very strange - this set arrived with a Big Lots sticker on it stating the price as less than what Amazon sold it for. The bag is fine, the glass dish is fine, the "heat pack" seems really flimsy - a thin plastic bag filled with a gel that can be heated or cooled. The lid is the truly awful part about this set - it does not fit at all. It just sits loosely on top of the glass pan, making this absolutely useless for carrying any casseroles that might spill. Having a lid that does not seal will also cause problems storing leftovers, as they will dry out to fast. Very disappointing.

Great Buy
I love glass baking dishes for the ease of cleaning them. I have several anchor hocking glass dishes and needed another big one for holidays. I have never had a problem with the glass breaking in the oven, but I have never had the temp above 400 either. This one came with the travel bag for a dollar more than just the dish/lid, so I couldn't pass that up. I have not had a chance to use the bag yet, so I can't comment on how it will keep items warm or travel, but the dishes are worth the money alone.

Lid could be better
The thermal bag works really well, love the bag. The lid to the 9x12 pan does not work well, it is very hard to get on once you take it off.

Great for transporting food dishes
The product was as expected. Casserole dishes were transported with no leaks and arrived hot. I'm glad that I purchased this product.

Can't beat it for keeping food warm. It looks good too.Beware if you are carrying wet food, the top is ok, but not leak proof.

Keeps food hot
A friend brought us a casserole using this set. Even after several hours sitting on the counter top the gel pack was still too hot to hold. I'm going to buy one for my wife. FYI - The pack is made in Canada.
