Great affordable sink!
An easy straight forward install was a direct drop in for the cheap two compartment sink the builder put in this house. It is a true 9 inches deep and seems to be of very thick gauge steel compared to our old sink.My one complaint if that one of corners was bent due to shipping. It was easily fixed. The unit comes with a gasket that works great and is much nicer then using caulking. All in all with removal of the old sink, and installation of this sink along with a new under sink water filter setup it only took me about an hour to complete. Today is only the 4th day I have had it installed so I could not tell you about longevity of this product.Update: we have had this product installed for just over 9 months and it has been a great sink. Fitting large baking pans and even my grill grates for cleaning has been great. It had developed two small surface rust areas that were easy to take care of with a billow pad or 000 steel wool. I'm am considering buying another in the future for a custom toy hauler I will be building. I would not hesitate to purchase this product again.

Great product-instructions are lacking an important piece of information
This is a great product, doesn't sound "tin-ny", and fairly easy to install. The instructions left out a pretty important piece of the puzzle though. After calling the manufacturer, I got it figured out. Attached to the underside of the sink was a bag that had the template for the counter and a weather strip-like roll of foam tape. There was no mention of the tape in the installation instructions or online. I almost ignored it since it was in with the template, which I did not need since I was replacing a sink that had the same dimensions. I'm glad I called the manufacturer because you need that weather stripping-type stuff (i.e. seal) or your silicone will not have anything to affix to. The foam seal needs to go in between the lip of the sink and the metal "groove" the screw clamps grab on to. THEN you put your silicon on the foam before putting the sink in. If you're a "lone" installer, grab some vice/clamps or something really heavy to put in the sink once it's in place because that foam causes the sink to raise slightly and leave more of a gap than you ultimately want. This makes it hard to tighten the screw clamps underneath (if you have another set of hands, they can push down on the top while you tighten the clamps or vice versa, but you'll need to hold that pressure until the foam seal has a chance to press in - about 15 minutes). I deducted a star for leaving out an important instruction AND putting that important seal tape in a bag with a "not always needed/used" template. Other than that, it's and easy install.

Very, very nice sink but the Installation hardware !
If you're going to install it yourself please remove your children from close proximity as you're going to swear a lot or worse, throw your tools . It's nice sink , nice finish ,tub sized :-) good slope for drainage, but the clamping system is designed by someone brainless . O man ... I thought i've seen it all . True .. I had just about 1 inch around to fiddle with flat head screwdriver ( Yes , clamps screws have lousy slot for flat head ) so the manufacturer got all the names under the sun . Sometimes you wonder if they do it on purpose . Just changing the head to torx or such would make the job sooo much easier . O well .. after all, she loves it so that's all what matters . Cheers and have fun .

Great stainless sink!
The wife couldn't stand having a split sink any longer as she was unable to put a full size pan in it. I looked around at several versions of this style sink and settled on Transolid because it was thicker steel than most and had very thick sound dampening pads and spray on the underside. It was a perfect replacement fit for the 33" x 22" double sink it replaced and the sound of water hitting the bottom of the sink from a typical goose neck kitchen faucet is super quiet. The price delivered was also spot on and it arrived heavily packaged and in perfect shape. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this if you're in the market...

Don't buy QC isn't doing their job
I got this sink and am only keeping it because of the corona virus pandemic and I don't want to deal with returnsMy issues were :2 of the corners were completely bent, I had to use pliers to pull the corner straight as best as I could in order to let the sink sit flush on the counter topThe sink isn't squared, one corner is 3/16th of an inch longer than the other, not sure if this is due to me having to streighten it by handThe sink collects water spots like no other, you cannot keep it clean unless you're washing it constantly and making sure you dry it, I gave up and am just dealing with the spotsThe cutout for the drain was also warped. To fix this I used a piece of wood to push it down flush, put on the drain and used it to pull it back down... Had to use extra plummer puddy to get a good seal.If I had money I'd throw it in the trash and buy something betterIf not for the corona virus and that I'd be without a sink for almost a month, I'd return this piece of crap

Not packed well for most shippers
This was a great price on a very nice looking sink. However, it was not pack sufficient enough to withstand shipping. It had 4 separate dents so I had to return it. I opted for another brand as a replacement as I'm pretty sure there is no way another would survive the abuse my packages go through.Update: I just received my new 16 ga. Ruvati RVH8005 sink and now I doubt the Transolid Meridian was 16 ga. The new sink is so much heavier. My new sink was packed so well I think the UPS guy could have just tossed it out of the truck while still moving past my house and it wouldn't have been damaged. Again, the Transolid was a nice looking sink and if not bent should serve well. But, its price tells the story, you get what you pay for.

Brilliant, heavy duty sink.
Most stainless steel kitchen sinks are made from lighter gauge material, (18 -22 ga.) This one is 16 gauge, it is heavier and as a result sounds different when we are using it.The first one shipped was damaged, bent down at two corners, this didn't happen during shipping the cardboard box was in perfect shape, so we returned it and had a fresh one within 5 days.We really like the huge bowl it makes cleaning bigger pots, like our woks, a breeze.
