Paradise Toys Large Stainless Steel Swing, 12-Inch W by 15-Inch L

Absolutely awesome toy. Perfect size for my DYH amazon, been looking for functional swing toy which isnt too small for a while. This one comes with 3 bells, and the form factor is intentionally and thoughtfully is a tube, so the bird's beak cannot reach to bell's tongue, hidden deep inside, and rip it off. On all other toys with bells I bought the bells are getting their tongues ripped off within a day or so.The perch is not like the picture, which looks like natural wood - it's a processed wood perch, polished and perfectly round. The natural one would have been better for bird's feet, but nevertheless the diameter of this one is the right size for medium-to-large size birds like amazons and greys, and its sturdy enough not to get shredded to pieces.The only improvement suggestion I can make is to offer 2 different hanging options - single clip also, not just the dual ones, featured in the picture, so it could be hooked up to something that has designated single hook/ring.

This is beautiful and huge. Perfect for my Umbrella Cockatoo. Bells sound is like pretty wind chimes. I anticipate replacing the dowel, yet I can put any piece of wood in there easily since it's only 2 outside screws. Being stainless steel, it should last forever. Very pleased!UPDATE~ he enjoys his swing so much that the dowel has lasted. It's as though he enjoys ringing the pretty bells so much that he wont dare eat his perch to them...and he is SUPER destructive! Best thing Ever!

Our amazon has a huge stainless swing that hangs on a small birdcage stand. He loves the big swing so much, I thought he may like a 'smaller version' for his cage. This swing is a perfect size for in a cage! I like the fact it is stainless and will last forever. I also like how easy the dowel looks to replace with a natural branch when the time comes. I just got this yesterday, washed it up and hung it. He was on it within minutes of it appearing in his cage. I typically remove bells from toys because those little ones can be broken and pose a hazard to big birds, but the bells on this swing are so solid that I feel totally safe letting him have them. Whether or not he will ever take interest in them is TBD, but I rang them myself and they make a pleasant, almost wind-chime type noise. Overall, seems like a good purchase.

It came looking used already opened the stick is cheap not sure if safe for birds. Parts were missing.

This unit is suitable for macaws, not amazons like my girl. Very large, very heavy. Will require a huge cage. I thought I could hang it on her day stand, but it's much too large.

The perch on mine is a peice of split and damaged round dowel easily replaced but certainly not the one shown in the pictures. The metal discs that are on the edges of the dowel are bigger than the dowel and sharp, again easily sorted when the dowel is replaced. Other than that this is nicely made and I am sure that my big guy will love it.

Very well made. Square stainless tubing on frame has a wood core that will make it resistant to dents and crushing by the large birds it is designed for. I replaced the dowel with a larger diameter one my B&G is more comfortable with. Made with leftover dowel from other perches. Cost: zero. The chimes have two soft pleasant tones. It is taking a while for my bird to get comfortable with it. After 28 years on her old one, it is very strange to her. Curiosity will eventually prevail.

Miguel is always in his swing. I had replaced a round rope type swing that we had bought at a bird show here in Las Vegas. It broke and I wanted something sturdier. And the bells at the top he loves. They make a nice sound.
