fascinating information

This is an interesting introduction to the world of psychology that covers the main points and people and how it relates to the real world and real people. It has a lot of extra diagrams and illustrations which don't work quite so well on the kindle edition as the detail wasn't all that clear but they were useful and informative none the less. I don't feel that I've actually learnt that much from this but then I do have some basic knowledge and this is aimed at those with none. I can certainly see how it is a good starting point though.

This is a great "coffee table book" and a great book to have in the house with teens. Easy to read and I love how it's laid out.

Easy to read layouts

My 11 year old daughter showed an interest in Psychology. We first found this book at the library. She liked it so much we ended up buying it. The presentation of information is perfect for older kids.

Enjoyable reading for any interested --- mildly interested -- in this fascinating subject. Well organized, well written, it gives a broad overview of the science of psychology and the gifted people who defined it.
