This book come with a CD that has the music without the drums and a separate track with the drums. This book is essential if you want to try to concur the difficult ride and hi-hat patterns he plays. If you don't execute Copelands style correctly you will never be able to master the sound he achieved. The CD is good but it doesn't capture the actual sound of the Police. It is still a very useful tool to play along with though. The other weakness is it just doesn't have enough tracks from The Police library, but at least its a start. The book gives me a good reason for taking out my TAMA Copeland signature snare.
