Bam France is the leader in instrument case design, functionality, and protection. This well padded strap features security screw hooks, like those used by climbers, assuring that this strap will not come off. Use two together for an excellent backpack option. Works with any instrument case with D-rings. Adjusts from 29" to 37".

I love these straps
But they took forever to ship to Canada from the US - about 3 months. Probably got stuck at customs or something. I didn't have to pay duty, though, and they came eventually and were well worth the wait. I don't want to let the wait influence my judgment of the product.

Cellists: Depends on How You Carry Your Cello
This strap is for a wide variety of instruments. Generally, it's great. I have broken many straps over the last ten years for a variety of reasons: Some the clasp ceased to work by bending or breaking, a few times the actual buckle that the strap is threaded through broke, and other times, the strap wore thin from times it got stuck in the cello case wheels (I usually tie straps off so this won't happen, but it doesn't always stay).Though I can never be certain the straps won't get stuck in the wheels, I feel confident that the clasp is sturdy and won't be breaking any time soon.My only real complaint is likely only shared by fellow cellists who carry their cellos on the side, using the strap over the opposite shoulder. At the longest setting, it's still a little short for my liking (and I'm a short person). I occasionally find myself strangled by a cushy piece of padding. The padded bit is sewn in place, leaving no room to move it to where it might be more comfortable. I'm thinking the padding was designed for backpack-style cellists: it goes exactly where your shoulders go, and you can even see in the photo that the padding continues even as far as the clasp, so you won't have a piece of metal hitting you between the shoulder blades.I'm thinking if you're a backpack-cello-carrier, this is the strap for you. Buy two, there's only one here. This is probably great for single-strap-backpack-cellists too. I'm still going to use this strap, but next time I'm buying a new one, I intend to try something else.

BEST straps ever!
I use 2 of these straps on my BAM violin case. LoVe ThEm!!! So comfy and with the lock system they are very safe and never accidentally fall off the hooks on my case. I bought new straps after my old straps wore out after about 3 years. Well, the straps still work, but the black stuff on the cushy part of the strap starts to get old and worn out. So, little black things get on your shirt.

Works
This is a well made strap, only thing I would change is for the width of the pad to be wider. I only ordered one and glad, cause I have a hard case for my Cello and would need some kind of big padding on my back if I carried it like a backpack... I just sling it on one shoulder and that works well.

Comfortable
These make a world of difference when compared to the default straps on my case which dug into my shoulders.

Strong and sturdy!
I bought one of these straps to replace a case strap for my viola. These straps are strong and durable, which is a nice change from the cheap made standard case straps.

I was able to make it through the airport with my violin as a carry on and with no discomfort from a bad strap. Try this before
I was going to sink money into one of those violin case sleeves with the backpack straps but thought I'd give this less expensive alternative a try first. What an improvement! I was able to make it through the airport with my violin as a carry on and with no discomfort from a bad strap. Try this before buying a costly case cover.

Not a pair
I thought it is a pair but it came in a single strap. Who would be using one strap? It is considerably expensive for one single strap.

The ultimate strap!!
If you are like me and carry heavy stuff like Drums and Drum equipment and have broken several straps this is last strap you will buy. It is very very durable and the locking D rings are made of high quality metals and should last you for years to come!! I would not turn you on to something that is less than stellar!!
