100% Non-GMO, Natural Chick Starter Feed, 25 Pounds

Great feed, arrived intact and within the time frame. My baby chicks are devouring it and I feel good that it's made from clean ingredients. I will be buying adult chicken food soon!

I'm disappointed in the product. It has small braches and twigs in the grain mixture and I'm honestly worried about the quality. I smelled it and it smells like it was fresh, but the fact that my baby chickens are having to eat large pieces of cracked corn when it should be ground completely was really disappointing. The food is really expensive and I found out that a local distributor sells an organic product for cheaper. I can get 50#s for $47.00. This product was $35 for 25#s ! I would not recommend this product and I won't ever again order from the Happy Chick'n Brand! I'll try and update this review with a picture of the grain that ships inside of cheap, cardboard boxes and then inside red garbage bags with a twist tie!. Doesn't seem hygienic or high quality in the packing or integrity at all!

The batch I bought was not finely ground. My hens were around 5 weeks when I started them on this feed. At first they did not devour it like they had the previous feed I gave them, and they left food in the feeder. After a week or two they liked it and seemed to eat it without any problems, but ate the larger pieces last. I would not have wanted to give them this feed if they had been younger, due to the larger pieces of feed, like cracked corn. As another reviewer mentioned, there were small pieces of twigs in the feed. Overall, I think the product is ok and i would feed it to my older chicks again, if I were not buying locally this time, but the company should specify that it is not finely ground.

Good product - I expected it to be more of a whole grain than a meal, but mixed it with my other feed and it worked fine.

Not happy with this. The VAST majority of this food was dust. I feel like I wasted a bunch of money on inedible food. My chicks nor hens will touch the dust. The whole reason I paid more than i would fir generic feed was because i expected a higher quality. Just not worth the cost for me. I'll see if I can post a pic later

My chickies loved it. Would buy again.
