I was worried about splitting when purchasing this after reading other reviews but I haven’t had any issues. I don’t use it super often and am careful to not let it soak whenever I do use it, so as not to let the wood swell and cause damage. It’s held up well and still looks like the day I got it. It’s thick and sturdy without being bulky. I’m happy to not be putting more microplastics in my families food when I use it. ## Features - 100% CAREFREE COOKING EXPERIENCE Our FAAY Teak Original Ladles are made of 100% golden brown teak with 12 inch long. I switched over to wooden non glue non plastic tools because my friend I cook for had signs of gi issues and it was really concerning . I got rid of Teflon- plastic garbage and even plastic cups too and Tupperware. His issues improved greatly and the blood ceased. I know money is tight rn but dying early sucks more so get your plastic in the trash and make the switch - your body will thank you ## Frequently Bought Together - FAAY Ladle, Serving Ladle, Cooking/Kitchen Ladle | 100% Eco Friendly Server Gravy Ladle, Wooden Kitchen Tool, Hand Carved Wood Unique Grain Ladle (Original Ladle) - FAAY 13.5" Teak Cooking Spoon, Wooden Spoon, Mixing Spoon Handcraft from Teak | Healthy and High Moist Resistance for Non Stick Cookware - FAAY 11.5 Inch Teak Wood Spatula/Turner for RIGHT Hand | Versatile Spatula, Durable, Healthy and High Moist Resistance for Non Stick Cookware --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.be/products/104523946-original-eco-friendly-wooden-serving-ladle](https://www.desertcart.be/products/104523946-original-eco-friendly-wooden-serving-ladle) --- *Product available on Desertcart Belgium* *Store origin: BE* *Last updated: 2026-10-17*
