Everyone talked about these at reception. They are woody smelling out of box but once they’re out in napkins that went away. The knives cut chicken breasts without splinters and forks were very sturdy. Spoons are great for soup but not the cake because of the wood it sticks to it so we used the forks for cake that was great. But remember the spoons are wood so they absorb.

I ordered several dozen of these for a community dinner, since I hate using plastic disposable utensils that don't get recycled in my location. The natural sustainable source, and the ability to compost them, at a good price, make them a win-win purchase. The only problem is that, if they are dumped into the wrong recycle cans with other materials, the recycling service will treat them as trash. So make sure to separate them (as all recyclables should be!) if you are not composting them yourself!

I bought these for my teenage daughter, who doesn't like to take real utensils in her lunch. They feel and smell like popsicle sticks, but they don't have any weird taste at all. The knives are strong enough to cut through a chicken breast. I feel better about using these, rather than plastic!

Not impressed... the whole point of buying these (not even close to the cheapest option for disposal cutlery) was that I was avoiding plastic and helping the environment. Well guess what—they came wrapped in plastic. Seriously?!?! Also, the box was not intact so now I have to find someplace else to store these. Do not buy!!!

Not only did these look WAY better than plastic cutlery, but they were incredibly sturdy and we didn’t have a single break! All the leftovers will either be perfect for our next camping trip or the next party! Great buy.

every time i leave my house to work i always bring my own food i also decided to start using biodegradable products and by far this is one of my favorite ones, i’ve boughten other wooden cutlery’s and these are my favorite ones by far, the forks spikes are longer than others so it makes eating way easier

These were perfect for taking on our camping trip. Sturdy and no issues with tastes/splinters while eating. Love that they are biodegradable & they made great kindling after use as well.
