This product was a HUGE disappointment. I’ve had a few other products from here in different flavors and they are awesome. This one was so bad that I took one bite and threw it away. What a waste of a whole box of bars. I won’t buy this one again. The lemon and the orange flavors are nothing like I expected. I have two boxes full of them that I will not be eating at all. I LOVE, LOVE the donut ones and the cookie dough. They are AMAZING. The citrus ones are a let down.

I am in love with this bar! It has everything I want in a bar, nothing I don't want, and AMAZING TASTE! I was attracted by the simple ingredients and the fact that it is dairy free, soy free, gluten free and GMO free then shocked that it actually tasted like lemon cake! So good in fact that I licked the "frosting" off the wrapper.

I have celiac disease, I'm lactose-intolerant AND I'm a competitive cyclist who needs to eat lots of protein each day while keeping a close eye on calories to stay at my race weight. I also prefer to consume plant-based protein whenever possible. And, I need to make sure it's easy to digest as I also have IBS (so balancing fiber, fat & protein is really important). Needless to say, there are VERY few options for a good-tasting, plant-based protein bar that meets these parameters. The Truwomen Red Velvet Cake protein bar, at a very reasonable 12 grams of protein & 190 calories definitely meets these requirements. I'm on my 3rd box already (!!!). I find myself absolutely craving these bars & enjoying every single delicious bite! Please, please, please....make this flavor a permanent addition to the line...it's amazingly delicious & is quite easily the tastiest 190 calorie plant protein bar on the market (and I've tried them ALL).

LOVE the new Red Velvet flavor. Not too sweet. Not grainy. Saves my life and my diet on my cross country flights.Side note- whey protein often made me bloated but these bars are plant based protein and much easier on my sensitive digestive system. Two thumbs up! Can’t wait for new flavors.

The chocolate chip cookie dough bar came in a monthly vegan subscription box and it was delicious, so I decided to order the rest of the bars to check them out. They are all delicious; best vegan bars I have come across so far. I'm waiting for the donuts to come back in stock so I can order those!

1. Smother Fudger Peanut Butter - Top Pick, Chocolate and Peanut butter is hard to get wrong.2. Daydreaming About Donuts - Blown away by how close these tasted to a real glazed donut.3. Zamn Good Zesty Lemon - A nice citrusy bite to these ones.4. I Scream for Orange Cream - Middle of the road, texture is too close to the donuts and the flavor misses the mark.5. Oh Oh Cookie Dough - These had a bit too much emphasis on the chocolate, not enough on the dough.6. Saltylicious Almond Love - For fans of nuts, which I am not. Flavor was ok, but the texture is nutty.Now if they could only stock the Red Velvet again, I would have tried the whole gambit.Oh, but for the price you'll pay, I'd recommend just going to your local grocery store to find something more affordable.

I’m a big fan of the PB flavor! I’ve bought two boxes so far! It doesn’t exactly taste like pb and chocolate but it gives me that sweet treat pick me up mid day when I need it. I ordered a single of the lemon and was dissapointed by the INSANE amount of packaging it came in. It was like unpacking an iPhone. Not environmentally friendly and frankly hugely wasteful. I wrote customer service and their explanation was that they wanted the customer to have that iPhone experience because their product is special. Not a great response. I would not recommend buying single bars if you care about sustainable and environmentally friendly practices. The bulk boxes are shipped in a simple box which felt appropriate. As for the flavor of the lemon bar? Not my fave. Had an aftertaste that didn’t appeal to me. I’ll stick to my pb.

My Husband loves the Daydreaming Abut Donuts but they have not been available for several weeks. So he tried the Red Velvet Ready and they are the worst and taste rancid. The after taste is enough to make you go running for something to rinse the taste out of your mouth.
