Windshield Rain Sensor Self Adhesive Gel Pad for A4 A6 A8 Q7 Touareg Altea

The dealership wants like $100 for this gel tab. This one works great and fit my 2006 Audi A6.

Perfect fit for a 2010 Audi Q5 Premium+Easy install but you gotta do your Googles depending on what model you have.I lightweight messed up and ended up with an air bubble...made it slightly worse by tryin to fix it lol.With that said, it still works but I ordered another one cuz I’m petty like that and want it to look OEM lol. Why not? It’s less than $8 vs $60 for what the dealer charges!On install I found out Safelite installed the OG gel sensor sideways and it looked half installed haha! It’s funny cuz it’s a teardrop shape and logically fits one way.

This was a perfect fit and functioned flawlessly. If you want to save a bunch of money this is a fairly simple job that pretty much anyone can do.

After a well nationally known windshield replacement company refused to reattach my mirror, I started my own research and found this item. I was informed with the weight of the mirror along with the twisting technique to reattach, they warned me of a possible application failure. Therefore along with the Rain Sensor Self Adhesive Gel Pad I used Loctite’s PL MAX Premium Construction Adhesive with SUCCESS.

Used this to fix my auto dimming mirror on my 986 boxster. Rtv to stick the mirror to the glass and it's been holding strong. Also my rain sensor works. Hooray!
