This works great
For someone who wasn't that into garlic, I must say, I've had a garlic conversion. I make my own bread, so putting some roasted garlic on a piece of fresh or toasted baguette is heavenly. Not overwhelming in the slightest.I've fine-tuned my method so far: the trick seems to be to make double sure to snip off the top of the bulb so that the oil can get in there. When you go to squeeze the roasted product into the dish with the silicon top, be careful! Best let it cool off a bit. When the whole thing is hot out of the (toaster) oven, make sure to be extra careful--some oil may be on the outside which makes the dish slippery. Use oven mitts.Garlic Rules!!

Would not recommend.
Could not use it. Too small to put a full clove of garlic in. Would not recommend.

Okay
We regularly roast garlic for all types of purposes. Generally we just wrap it in foil and place on a cookie sheet. This seemed like a really neat idea that really isn't all that great. Basically it's too small for medium and large bulbs (mostly what we buy). It still recommends you place it on a cookie sheet for roasting. I guess the one benefit is that it's microwavable, (something we've never tried). Other than that, we have no real use for it. Just another piece of kitchen clutter...

Great Garlic Roaster and keeper
The lid cools immediately after roasting so no burns and the ceramic bottom heats evenly. Just a great gadget.
