If so in what ways?** A: My posters were laminated, it didn't damage them or the walls. It just didn't stick. After about an hour, the posters began to slip off the wall and in another hour they were all on the floor. The Blu-tack was stretched between the walls and the poster like if you took gum and pulled it until it began to break. It was worthless, trust me. You are better getting 3-m double sided if they are going to stay a while. **Q: How does this product hold up under heat. Such as if one were to hang something over a window to reduce heat. The tea light will be upside down. Will this hold for long?** A: The plastic tea light is LED, right? These are very light and create no heat. The only heat would be environmental (if you leave closed jar in direct sunlight, for example) otherwise, you should be fine. I mostly used it to hang up fabric posters to minimize the holes in the walls and the largest fabric was about four feet by six feet. The Blu-Tack held them up with no problems for the whole year. It pulled off the wall with no issues; I found it easiest to use a small piece of the tack to pull off the rest from the wall.
