Works Great on My Side Bar for my TerraTrike Tour II
I needed a handlebar bag to mount on a side bar on my TerraTrike Tour II.This Banjo Brothers bag matched the trunk style bag that I have on the bike, and the vain part of me wanted the luggage to match...I know it's not important, but I've spent a lot of money on this whole setup and I want it to look as good as it rides!!!Anyway...the bag was easy to install on the bar. The instructions were easy to follow, and the mounted ended up being extremely secure and stable. It includes a braided steel cable to wrap under the stem of the bar it's mounted to in order to keep the bag even more secured. The only issue I had with the install was cutting that steel cable when I got it ran where it needed to be...even my good quality side cutters took a TON of effort to get the wire clipped. Maybe my good quality side cutters are a bit worn out or something...but I don't think so. Just plan on using some elbow grease and some muscle to get that wire cut.The bag easily slides on and off of the bar mount, making it something that I'll be able to just take with me whenever I have to lock the trike up. That's great. I'll be able to toss my wallet, phone, and some other valuable type items in it and just take the whole thing with me. It includes a shoulder strap for easily carrying the bag when it's not hooked to the bike. The size of the bag is pretty good. I'll be able to fit quite a bit of stuff inside it, and it's got a clear pocket inside to keep even smaller things (like coins) all in one easy to get to area. There are mesh pockets on the sides of the bag as well that you can fit things into. I'm planning on keeping a battery pack for my phone, my wallet, my GoPro, some snacks, and possibly my main camera in this bag. I'll easily be able to fit that all into the bag without any issues.Overall, this bag meets all of my needs for my trike. It's going to look great, work great, and end up being a perfect addition to this trike I'm starting to get serious about using.

Excellent bag
I was hesitant to spend so much money on a handlebar bag but I found it is a excellent quality bag with perfect stitching, a strong nylon plastic mount that supports a lot of weight, and cable support that won't allow it to rotate down when installed correctly. If the cable doesn't support the bag then it was not installed right. It is key to route it correctly or it won't work right. Also the product photo on Amazon shows it routed wrong as it should not go over the stem. That would only prevent it from rotating up which is opposite of what you need. Make sure the cable goes over the handle bar then UNDER the stem (this is also depicted in provided installation instructions). When the cable is tightened down it will not allow the bag to sag or rotate down on the handlebars which works very nicely and can support a lot of weight. If you plan to remove the bag often then it is also important to cut the extra cable off which good wire cutters so it does not bind the quick release.I use this bag on my electric kickbike. I found the red fabric liner was a good place to hide all my wire connections inside and the bag holds the weight of the battery better than expected. The plastic frame is strong enough to mount the motor controller on the back so it not very noticeable while still getting air cooled. I cut a hole in the back for the wires to pass inside so it has a very clean and stealth look for an electric bike.

A FIVE-STAR BAG WITH CRUDDY HARDWARE
First off, I was impressed with the bag the moment I opened the box. The size was exactly what I was looking for, and it is sharp looking both on the outside, and the inside with red nylon lining. If you have patience to spare, then by all means you will not be disappointed in this bag. BUT... I ran into some glitches trying to install it on my bike: 1) The brackets didn't fit my bike, so I had to make do. This is not a huge problem, since the wire supports the weight of the bag, not the bracket. 2) There is an alan wrench that is used to tighten the four screws of the bracket, and although this comes with the hardware, mine was missing! I again had to make do but was not unable to tighten them completely. 3) The wire that is threaded through the bracket to support the weight of the bag and its contents was very difficult getting into one side, which caused me to have to cut away some of the plastic coating. In other words, what could've taken about 15 minutes had it fit my handlebars and had the alan key been included ended up taking a great deal longer to install. However, when all was said and done, it was worth the effort and I look forward to using this on my next trip.

Good Quality, Light Weight, Roomy & Easy To Install
My wife selected this carrier for her bike and used it during the 2012 summer. She wanted a carrier that had plenty of room for small items (cell phone, maps, drink, snacks...) but which would not flop around on the handlebar causing her to feel like she was losing control. This carrier worked out perfectly. It was relatively easy to install (screwdriver, pliers & wire cutters) and is stable on the handle bars. It does not sag or slip out of place. The plastic framework seems to be of high quality, durable plastic. The bag is removable for storage and has a carry-along shoulder strap in case you don't want to leave it on your bike when you lock it up in a public location. It seems to be water resistant, at least in a light mist; she has not biked in a heavy rain with it in place. She would buy it again. This is a more stable carrier than those which just hang off the handlebars with fabric velcro straps; it is less expensive than most carriers that install on the rear of the bike.

Easy to remove, bag is sturdy and durable.
This bag is pretty good and I would buy it again. The only gripe I have is the cable they supply to keep the bag bracket from slipping down really sucks. It is very hard to cut and fit and once you cut it you are done. So be sure to get the placement of the bag exactly how you want it. The cable routes through the mounting bracket, round the stem, and back through the bracket.
