Good, but not good enough
My daughter was very keen to get this for her 4th birthday and so far she has been loving it which should be a great endorsement, but I am not quite as impressed. For the money I was hoping for better; some of the magnets don't really stick as well as they should, particularly where the two side of a tube are used to make a column - they don't stay as close together as they should. Trying to build the model on the front of the box led to a lot of frustration with the pieces falling apart several times before we then realised that there aren't enough pieces in the box to build it anyway. That is one of the problems; there are lots of pictures of cool things that you can't build and no instructions on how to build anything. I guess the point is creativity, but this I found misleading.It is fun and there's a lot here, but also some frustration with it.

Great fun
5 and 7 year olds loved this, but my 11 year old really enjoyed it too. Well made, durable and creative. I highly recommend this to parents of children who like building and inventing. Lots of problem solving and loads of possible configurations.
