Quad Throw Salchow

The indie dance cred for Quad Throw Salchow's debut, SPEED, comes right out with the opening track, with the gravelly lyrics and sharp beat. "Matters of the Mind" has the same equivalent structure: a strong bass guitar, percussion, vocals. But "Fate Will Find You" brings in more of a groove, but all these elements don't really come together until "Chrome September," which seems like the culmination of all the previous tracks. "Primitive" brings forth a slower pace, and that mood carries into "Dead Good," even as the tempo picks back up. An interesting album for those who like crossover indie rock and dance.
