this was the first group i ever saw live and i have always been a fan-this their last real album other than compliations was produced by Roy Wood from Wizzard-there are some great tracks on here-Cant Get Enough of your Love should have been a top 5 hit for them-also some great pop songs like Runaroound and Honey Bee and their version of "Dont Look Back"-but this cd is worth buying just to hear the Roy Wood song -Ring out the old-a re/working of I wish it could be Xmas Everyday which ticks all the boxes and should again have been released as a single

About time
I can't believe I didn't buy this album when it was released, especially since I'd seen them in concert at the Coventry Theatre when 'Can't Get Enough of Your Love' was in the charts. It's a great collection of all sorts of styles for the band and like their previous two albums contains plenty of tracks that were other options to have been released as singles. For me the standout track is the final track of the original album, 'Goodbye Brenda'. It was finally released on CD a few years back on the 'Double Top' CD but astonishingly the track jumped near the end (not a faulty CD, just a faulty source for the track, no doubt dubbed off a record). Thankfully this time it's presented in all its glory. Not entirely sure that the 'Let's Hang On', 'Cairoli' and 'White Christmas' tracks belong here, as they weren't recorded as part of the Roy Wood sessions but it's a delight to have 'I've Got to Have My Way' and the previously unreleased 'Sing Out the Old, Bring in the New'.Great album and thanks for the memories, Darts.

Can't Get Enought Of Darts!
This release has always been my fave LP of theirs. The Roy Wood production really makes the band take a new direction, sound-wise, with some really strong self-penned tracks too.The band see the "debut" of members Kenny Andrews on bass vocals and Mike Deacon on keyboards. The mighty Duke Of Earl (a top ten hit in the summer of '79), Can't Get Enough Of Your Love (a hugely underated single, with Roy Wood on banjo!) and Jackie Wilson's Reet Petite are the three singles to be found here.Bonus singles also included are "Let's Hang On" and "White Christmas".Stage favourites, "Don't Say Yes", "This Is The Night" and "Don't Mess Around With Love" are also here, along with fans favourite, "Don't Look Back"There's an unreleased jem in "Sing Out The Old, Bring In The New", which Roy wrote for the band and is also included. This should have been released at the time, as it really suits the band's vocal harmonies and musical style. Constructive criticism may say it sounds too "Wizzard" - but I say people like what they're familar with.A mention must go to the whole CD sleeve packaging. Meticulous in detail - digipak style - with new liner notes.Highly recommended.:-)
