KitchInspirations Elegant Square Style Natural Bamboo Bread Box

I looked at a lot of Amazon bread box reviews before picking this one. Most of the reviews said the same thing (poor quality/construction) no matter how much they cost. I bought this one because it was inexpensive. Mine came in one piece and has held together fine. I have owned for over a month and no problems. That being said, it's not the sturdiest construction and if it is dropped it would probably break. I bought it to place in my pantry and prevent my bread of getting squished. It does that. I also bought it because the door was in front and I could put other pantry items on top of it and still open it. It does that too. It holds about one and a half loaves of bread. I wish it held two.

This bread box was exactly what I needed. It is big enough to store all the bread my family used to keep in the microwave. It's pretty sturdy, I accidentally dropped off of the counter it as soon as I opened the package, there was little resulting damage. For people who aren't fans of stale bread this is a great, wallet friendly, option to keep it fresh.

I got this as a gift for my dad. We are all gluten free except for him so he gets a lot of guff for having his bread out on the counter "contaminating" the kitchen. Now he has his very own gluten box and it is sturdy enough he can also keep his vitamins and pills on top of it so it helped organized the kitchen counter too. It is big enough for him to keep a loaf of bread and package of English muffins inside, maybe more depending on the size of the packages.The bamboo is lovely and a neutral color and style that blends in nicely with the kitchen.

Wow! This is the biggest piece of junk I've ever seen! I wouldn't even consider putting it on my counter, that is after I put it back together. This bread box arrived in pieces (and no, it's not supposed to be assembled by the consumer) with staples sticking out. Looks like it totally came unglued. Kind of hard to tell by the shape it's in, but I also don't even think it's the same box that's pictured. The one in the picture looks like it has a curved door that slides back into itself to open. What I got were 6 pieces of cheap warped wood that look like they're supposed to fit together at 90 degree angles. Needless to say, it's going back ASAP.

My Grandma has been wanting a breadbox for some time now and I ordered this one so that I could get it custom painted with gingerbread men and women around it for part of her Christmas gift. I received the item and the door was being poorly held together by two little pegs, a piece of wood on the right side of the box was hanging off, there was evidence of glue and staples all throughout the box.I would not order this box, it looks like these people just got some pieces of wood and put it together with a 5 year old, I could have done that myself and had a better product.Garbage, trash, worthless!!!

Actual item is different shape than pictured. When I took it out of packaging it was split in a couple places. My husband had to glue and clamp to get it back together. I don't think the repaired door will hold up to heavy use as a breadbox so I am using for a different purpose. I like bamboo products so wanted it to work somehow but would not recommend as a breadbox.

Works great for 1 full loaf and maybe a pkg of buns. I knew the size when I ordered it, so that's on me. Decent product, but not quite a 5 star product.

item pretty, but poorly made. shipping box was not damaged, and it was packaged good, but lid on item was broken all the way across, and the area for wooden peg hinge was cracked.

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. Keeps our home made bread fresh!Goes nicely with Ikea style butchers block surfaces, and you can store a cutting board on top so it doesn't take up any more space.

Very nice and great quality! Perfect size as well.

1 wooden dowel was missing so the door doesn't stay on. I have to repair it.

It arrived with a piece broken from the back of one side. It started to crack at the (glued?) joints not even after one month of using it.

Stores bread. What else do you want?
