It starts a bit slow but man is it good! An interesting cross between fantasy and history.Highly recommend if you want to read something different.

My daughter is not a big reader. She specifically asked for me to buy thus book and has read it a few times.It is very engaging for kids in the pre-teen ages.

I owned this book when I was younger, but that copy got torn and broke so I needed a new copy. This book was one of the first books I remember picking myself and loving. It is a historically factitious telling of a family who boarded the Titanic. It is a great read and reread.

There are often things about a book that make it outstanding in a bad way. In this case, there wasn't. It was a pleasant way to distract myself while cleaning house. (I use the text-to-speech feature of my Kindle and headphones while carrying it in a large apron pocket.) I appreciate books that I can listen to that do not suddenly turn offensive in any way. This one did not. It was a decent story and tied together elements that I would not have considered combining. The text the author shared after the story was quite interesting and to be honest I enjoyed that about as much as the story itself. A good read and worth the price.

I liked it a lot, she should write a sequel. It could be all about Thad and Jane getting married, or all three of them- Thad, Jane, and Mimi- gong to Haiti.

I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. There wasn't a slow part in it. Just a really fun read!

I don' t normally care for historical fiction novels but Distant Waves hooked me in right from the beginning. I could hardly put the book down! Definitely a thrilling, and mysterious read. I recommend this book to everyone... It's a must read!
