Superior Threads Glitter Shiny Metallic Sewing Thread for Embroidery Quilting and Decorative Stitching - 400 Yard Spool (Blue)

I expected this to have more of a threadlike testure. It actually feels like thin ribbon. It wasn't too hard to work with. I was able to use it in my embroidery machine with no issues. I still think I prefer the polyester blend better.

Great value for the money. This thread has more yards to the spool than comparable glitter threads. I’ve ordered several colors and will continue to order them. I especially like them for Christmas cross stitch crafts to add the sparkle.

this is really nice thread, and added a lot of sparkle and shine to my version of libs elliott "the watcher" quilt.for those reviewers who say it breaks, superior has a really good video on their site that gives you tips on how to best use this thread--side delivery (not horizontal); using a low top tension; using a smooth polyester bottom thread, like superior's bottom line; and finally, using a 90/14 needle.i love this thread, the color is great, and so sparkly. i will be buying other colors.

I purchased this product to add a touch of sparkle to a crochet project. It worked wonders. The sweater set I made for my granddaughter was perfect. Just the right touch of bling. It has become her go to chilly weather sweater.

Its like im threading a glestening stream thru the eye if needle. wouldnt use this thread to hold together a backpack or anything, but for by-hand embroidery and going over ur pre-existing seams its breathtaking. Harder to tie off than normal thread but easier than fishing line.

Bought this for building fishing rods, unfortunately this is less thread and more ribbon material. Might work for trim bands but not good for much else.

I just used mySuperior thread, glitter thread silver for the first time. The thread worked great with minimal breakage. You must use a metalic needle and loosen the tension to prevent breakage. I have tried 4 other threads with poor results due to breakage, and this thread worked great. I sure hope the other thread colors work as well.

Gorgeous! Especially under colored lights. I use it in the bobbin of the sewing machine (can't use it on top) and quilt the piece on the wrong side. Really love it.
