Some measurement, drilling, assembly required but easy enough. It’s additional weight, but it’s at the bottom of the ladder at least and the stationary portion only is not heavy at all. I used it with a 24ft ladder on about 30 degree sloped ground to paint the gable end, full extension was needed. Sturdy as on level ground and the ladder foot is now two inches wider with the added foot. Releasing the extension takes a little getting used to with first pushing down and then slowly raising the foot to get it back in home position without the footrest springing up against your leg. No big issue. Releasing the add on from the ladder and moving it to another ladder is a snap. Much easier than I expected. It requires a few washers used as shims but I expect they all do. I like this product **Q: Will it fit all extension ladders** A: Don't know. I can tell you it fits a 30 year old Keller aluminum extension ladder and a Cosco multi use ladder (similar to little giant) **Q: will these units work with the PK70-1** A: Yes, They are made by the same manufacturer **Q: is it complete the 2 parts per ladder leg, or one part without the extention?** A: 2 parts per order these are the parts that attach to each of the ladder legs.
