I wanted to be able to sort out the dry from the wet and this did not allow enough room for both. Still the price was ok and I found other uses for the removable tray.. The product is well made and is cleanable in my dishwasher but the black surface water spots easily - even with hand washing. I tried to rinse well with plenty of water but I had to use the rinse aid to have them spotless. I also found that I prefer to have some clear sides so that I can see what is stacked in the box without moving them out of the stack. I am still using these boxes for those meals with 'no meat' so they are easy to spot among the others.
