I bought this for a sleepover party and all the girls were really excited to do this project. It’s a great idea but came up a bit short in some areas:1. There is not enough base balm for 12 lip balms. I had 6 girls and they were disappointed to find that their second stick only ended up half filled. I was very careful to measure every one and there was no spillage. There simply wasn’t enough for the number intended. Unless the company increases the amount of base included, you will only have enough for 8-9 lip balms, if you’re careful.2. It is not clear how much the eye dropper holds so it’s hard to measure how much flavoring to use.3. The flavoring must have a high chemical content. The girls all complained that the lip balm stung their lips. I tried them all and they do have a stinging effect.4. I would have preferred additional wooden sticks and plastic droppers. If you only have 2-4 kids doing this project, the current number may be ok, but there’s not enough for a larger group. There should be one plastic dropper for each flavor (in this case, 4 rather than 2: 4 droppers for 4 flavors.) It’s hard to not get mixed flavoring because you have to use one dropper for two flavors.One more thing to note, the balm solidifies very quicky so I found myself constantly popping them back in the microwave as soon as the flavor was added. The wax is extremely hot but if you let it cool, it will quickly get lumpy. So this is probably a better project for older kids who can be more careful to avoid getting hot wax on themselves.UPDATE: The seller promptly responded to my review and offered a refund or replacement. I appreciate the offer to make things right.

My Kids were so excited to get this package and it didn't disappoint! PLENTY of balm containers.....super safe for kids and easy to follow, well written instructions! I basically supervised as they chose which directions to use, the "flavors" to use and worked together to make their favorites! The "balm mixture" was very easy to melt and pour....NO MESS AT ALL! The clean up was easier than almost any other craft we've done! I would highly recommend this for a group of kiddos, for teacher gifts or a party craft! Oh...and they can create their own stick on label! WONDERFUL!

We bought this for our daughter’s 12th birthday and she absolutely LOVES it! Small issue upon receipt but the seller was absolutely lovely to work with and quick to respond and resolve the issue. I hope they start selling just the balm base as I can see my daughter wanting to continue making different scents/flavors in the future (no problem to purchase additional essential oils to use). One thing to note: the picture of the balm base is different than what you receive, even though you get the same amount. This through us a little bit as it was flatter and wider and didn’t look to be as much just based solely on the picture itself. Great, natural products we felt good about purchasing for her to play with and put on her skin, and they really do smell and taste good! The seller is awesome, too! Win/win!

Great! Do not use too much of flavor. Slightly less than instructed and the lip balm holds much better.

Perfect gift for a 10-year old that likes creating and giving. She surely doesn’t need all 12 tubes, but she loves creating flavors to give to friends.

We loved using this kit. I was nervous at first about it being a giant mess but the ingredients and packaging makes it so easy, clean and foolproof. The balm heats up and pours so easily and the microwaveable cups mean no mess!My daughter is sensitive to some ingredients but these natural ingredient felt great and made her chapped lips feel great (the whole family has been battling dry skin because it’s been so cold).Love the product and the activity!

This review is based solely on presentation. The picture shows a typical product box with a label and everything. What I received is the brown shipping box with all the contents loosely thrown in. This is NOT a giftable item! It would be embarrassing to give this as a gift.

We loved this lip balm kit! Chose this one because it's made in the USA. The kit has everything you need to make lots of lip balm tubes. We had a ton of fun creating various flavored balms and testing all the flavors. We even got to mix n match our favorite flavors. I liked the peppermint, and it actually plumps my lips. This will definitely be my go-to gift this year!

The kit arrived and I was really happy to see that it was exactly as described. The quality of the balm base is really great, much better than mixing your own formula in my opinion. I love having five different flavors.The instructions are very through but the process is easy. I appreciate having extra tips and tricks.Clean up is super easy, too. It is much easier than your standard wax.These will make excellent stocking stuffers.

My daughter received this for Christmas and quickly started making lip balms for everyone. She is 11 and was able to follow the directions and make several tubes without my help. She thought it was super fun and asked for another kit when this one runs out!

I wanted to try my hand in the balm phase to see how i would do and it was simple and fun..Then the 2nd time did it with my niece so she loved it.

My son got this for Christmas and it's good quality. It makes a lot of tubes of lip balm, and you can customize the flavors/colors
