This is one of the best diaries I've owned in years, the paper and brown leather like cover are great, the print quality is good too, there is a fabric/material book mark attached to the spine which makes it easier to find the page you are using.One of the features I like the most is that it has more than one year planner format in it. The smaller restricted space calendar, in which it is only possible to mark birthdays and anniversaries on, and another larger window format, similar to those in the standard year planning wall chart.Each day has been divided by hours, lines from 8.00 - 20.00hrs (24hr clock) with some extra space for recording lunch plans, there is extra space for notes at the foot of each page. There are tabs along the side of the page which can make flipping to a particular moth easier but they are not indented or grooves cut out or anything like that.This format is pretty good if you are journaling along the lines of those recommended by Benjamin Franklin in his book recommending how to develop virtue (the Art of Manliness website produces slightly expensive specially designed journals but these serve just as well and and preprinted too). Also I think the spacing for notes at the end of day can serve as well as other single line journals or other similar ideas like the Daily Stoic. So you can combine a planning tool and journal in a single place.At the back there are ten plus pages for addresses and phone numbers/contacts. This is a little restricted in terms of space, as is the section in the front for your own contact details but these are minor issues. I plan to buy this again when the new year comes around. Recommended. Really great find.

I've had better quality from a pound shop! Arrived with what felt like a slimey substance on the very cheap 1980s style plastic sleeve. I then opened to see a dirt mark (looks like it's been trodden on) and page creases in the first few pages. The paper used was beyond cheap and the seemingly colourful tabs are nothing but faded recycled paper. It's the worst diary I've ever owned. I'm sending it back to Amazon for a full refund (I barely ever do returns). Absolute junk! I was expecting a similar product to Moleskine but instead I got something I wouldn't even want to wipe my backside on. Waste of money.
