Butterfly Iron-on Transfer Patterns (Dover Iron-On Transfer Patterns) Paperback – January 14, 1992

If you are interested in embroidering, painting or appliqueing butterflies, this little book is perfect and great value, especially as the transfers (86 in varying sizes) are all iron on. There are plainer and fussier butterflies, butterflies on plants and flowers and clear instructions on transferring to fabric, dark fabrics and wood. Highly recommended!

Nice butterfly patterns to be used for various purposes. The drawings are actually fairly realistic, so can be used for a variety of applications.

I put some of these on tees for my granddaughter. We fabric painted some and I embroidered one. Easy to work with.

The transfers are good, I wanted to have pics that are not childish looking, these come close, I just wish they were more detailed.

for the most part they turned out ok but some of the iron ons didn't show that well on the second transfer

The designs are beautiful and exactly what I expected. I have not transferred them to fabric but I look forward to using them.

Patterns are very intricate. If you like embroidering on a really focused level, then these iron on are for you.

たしかに、表紙通りの図案ではあるのですが・・・　文字がほぼ無い。（表紙と裏表紙くらいかな？）　なので、どんな蝶をモデルに描かれているのか、全く分かりません。（裏表紙に開設されているのでしょうが、英語力皆無の人間には読めません）　そして、思ってたよりも図案が大きいのが多いです。一つでＡ５くらいのサイズのもあります。かと思えば、５㎝くらいのデザインもあります。ですが、小さければ小さくなるほど、デザインが雑に見えてきます。かといって、大きければ繊細かと言えば、直線をただ左右対称に組み合わせたかのようなデザイン。　使えないデザインではないですが、蝶をモチーフにされるなら、実在の蝶をデザイン化した図案集をおすすめします。

There are more Butterfly patterns then you will know what to do with! I did mine on tea towels & could not have asked for better results! Can be done as shown (solid) or as I did with just an outline, which I thought looked best. Transfers are large but work really well (when directions are followed) & can be used several times. Every page has a test transfer.

There are 86 designs in this book ranging from small butterflies and extra large butterflies to butterflies with flowers. These transfers can be used for a variety of projects from hand embroidery to wood burning and all of the transfers can be used more than once. There are test patterns on each page so you don't have to worry about using the main transfers when testing their use on different fabrics. If you love butterflies this is definately the book for you.
