The installation was fine, but the screen intermittently detects touch erroneously. In the video, the only time I touched the phone was to cancel the notification that popped up. Each of the blue dots and other screen movement reflects “input” received by the device. This is very problematic; I would not recommend this product based on my experience.

I replaced the front screen assembly and now it is very sensitive and often inaccurate after using it for 3 weeks. Touching apps, scrolling the different pages of apps or on the browser screen, and trying to type in a search bar would cause unpredictable behavior. Screen would also not dim when holding the phone against my face when taking a call, causing random buttons like mute, keypad, and speaker to pop up during a call. I reset the phone as new, adjusted the touch sensitivity in the settings of the phone, and even re-installed my old screen to see if there was a problem with the phone itself, but my old screen worked without any issues (other then the crack on that original screen), so it was not a problem with the phone. I have re-installed my old screen and added a screen protector to it because this product is not working correctly.

Works good so far. The included screw drivers have good magnetic. The 3 tooth driver is a little pointy and can slip easy, making hard to tighten or can damgage the tiny screws.I needed to discard a little piece in front of the ear piece (or it's tye ear piece?)Only used for one day, so time will tell how reliable it is.

For the price, this is an amazing deal. I can’t tell any noticeable differences in this screen VS a factory screen. Plenty of Youtube videos to follow step by step can be found, so the process is pretty easy just stay organized, take your time and maybe have someone around you to lend a hand..As far as the tools, the Tri-Driver was the worst tool i have ever used... the slightest amount of pressure made the tool tip unusable. I highly recommend order a better set of tools even if you only plan to do this one.

Bought from another seller and the screen arrived defective/poorly package.I ordered from this seller and the screen arrives beautifully packaged, and installed very easily.

For the average person who only uses this to call its good. But for pictures or gaming it’s not very good. It overheats. Darkens, and the touch isn’t sensitive enough.

Faulty screen, phone powered on but lcd would stay black. Tried a different lcd, worked no problem. The kit is nice, but since it didn’t work I had no choice but to leave one star. Buy at your own risk. This was iPhone 8 Plus.

Don’t buy this product. Instructions were missing vital steps, tools were hard to work with, and once installed the screen does not function properly any longer. Lags and when pop ups come up you are unable to select an option. You must turn off phone then restart. Also hypersensitive to touch. Save ur time and go for a better screen replacement .
