I used the scallops as the base for XO sauce using a recipe from the NYTimes. They worked quite well and my family enjoyed the sauce and decided that it was a keeper. There is a generous amount of scallops at a reasonable price and they steamed up quite well - no 'off' odors, discolored scallops, etc.

Perfect for making soup or just adding to soups after they’re soften from being soaked. I bought them for purpose of making congee. Soaked the scallops for half and hour, broke them up, threw them in slow cooker with rice and chicken and done. Will buy again. But 1 lb is plenty for me right now.

I bought these to make OX sauce and man did it turn out great. Love the texture these give you when rehydrated and the flavor is amazing! The price was just right as well.
