Hello! The pump in this kit does not currently have a float or pressure switch. That being said many customers have used a simple float to also act as a cutoff when setup between the pump and controller.

Q: Would this system power a fountain for a farm pond, maybe aerate the water at the same time for my fish ?

Hello! This pump puts out 1.6GPM, so it really depends on what fountain you have and how high you want/expect the water to go. I am not 100% sure on the aeration part, but reading about it this pump should be suitable to meet the needs there as well! Let us know of any other questions!
